Suisei's story is an inspirations to me. its ok to go slow, take a few detour but never ever stop. a truly shining comet in a lot of people's lives.

Aside from tenacity, here is other factors for her success
- first see her early 2020. Her singing skill improved over time, and by the time she went to First Take, it's already polished to high degree and got good compliment from many vocal pro. She always try to improve.
- She is the one who started the trend of live concert as 3d debut. I think many other trend start with her. Latest one was bibideba dance challenge.
- she collected song collab like collecting stamps. She had collaborated with all of hololive (?), indie vtubers, agency vtubers, real live singers, male female, idolmaster character, and many more. If not for song collab, she invited them to her 3d concert. It's like there is no barrier for collab.
- the first successful example of indie vtuber joining corpo. And it is still rare for this to happen. In fact, Suisei is so special she still lurk in indie vtuber discord server, and they don't kick her out or something. She pulled people from there from time to time for stuff.
Never forget her roots and occasionally comment on indie vtuber streams.
- while not a songwriter, she is involved in the process, giving input. Her MV often has innovation and very creative. She is also very demanding in the live stage planning. This shows that she has creative talent.
- she has excellent game sense. In short time she grow from amateur at apex to a standard low good player. Enough for competition.
She is still, the strongest tetris player among vtubers. Lots of her growth during covid is when she stream games.
- very professional and neat. After 7 years, I don't remember even one scandal. No hint of past live or rl photo. Good rep. Never heard people who worked with her has bad thing to say. Taku Inoue literally want to keep working with her.
Oh wait I remember one drama, but it was from male idol side mistake, and it's so silly.
- Luck also play a factor. Many opportunity come through luck, i. e. Taku Inoue discover her clips etc. Bibideba got viral.
Still, luck can only come when there is something to hit on.

The misconception of those agencies that rejected her is that they misunderstood Hoshimachi Suisei's values. They thought she was just a "Jack of all trades master of none," but in reality, Suisei is a "Jack of all trades master of all." Art, gaming, singing, anything, if Suisei has given the time to learn it, she will become a pro at it. A true comet that has become a star.

- singing? her latest album hit #2 on oricon jp combined album and charted on the billboard 100 in multiple east asian countries, and her "bibbidiba" is the only song i'm aware of from a virtual artist to have gotten certified by a major national recording industry association in any country (gold by the riaj in this case).
- gaming? she made a serious name for herself as a tetris prodigy well before she became famous as a singer. in fact, some tetris pros recognized her name and skills from before she joined hololive iirc.
- art? she drew her original model herself, and her original model is as detailed as most major indie vtubers' v2 and v3 models are now.
she's a force of nature. the virtual equivalent of a triple threat.
