You can actually cook the sunflower 🌻 and eat it Cook it with olive oil Then after cooking top it with : Cream cheese Chili flax Curry Salt Mozzarella and lastly edible flowers 💐 Just make Sure your sunflower isn’t too old😁 (I saw this in a video from @anna.antonje so I do not Now if it’s good 😅) btw I love your videos! Pls 👇🏻
Hello :) just commenting to ask if you actually eat the luffa? Bcs in my country you can eat the green ones. Good for soups! But, if the luffa is getting ‘old’ and turned darker green, then it might taste bitter. Sorry if this is very random 🤍
I've had a couple tators show up earlier this month. I'm guessing they're going to be volunteering next year if they make a big enough tuber to survive 😊
I'm very jealous of your setup! Definitely something I need to improve! Any room for one more? 😅 Have you thought about trying hydroponics? It's been on my list for a while now.
I feel the rain thing, no rain for mounth then 9 inches of rain then no rain again. My garden is splitting open, its just been bad year for us, but your garden is looking really good
I have been very unsuccessful with vegetable gardening (my yard is too shady) but have had some fun with flowers…but by my sunflowers in a slightly more sunny spot…a volunteer cherry tomato just showed up! And it’s massive and covered with tomatoes 🤷♀️🤣❤️ sometimes life gives you tomatoes (or potatoes) and I’m here for it.
This might be a stupid question but how do you prevent wild animals from eating the produce and destroying the garden? (whether feral cats, squirrels, racoons, mice, etc whatever is local to you)
So LUCKY you have voulenteer plants that grows without effort, i wish i had, actually i havebone small cayene chillies that happily produce big chillies and bigger than its tree 😂😂
You dont eat loofa??? You should try it. But you use the young one, still green and the seeds still small, white, and soft. First you should peel a little bit of its skin, then cut it. You can stir fry it with garlic, onion, chili, and tomato. But you should be careful, sometimes there loofa that tastes bitter
Why just give to chickens the cantaloupe if cracked? Open it, cut off the peel, removed seeds, and cut into dice. Put in bowl, add condensed milk and mixed. Put into covered for fridge vontainers snd when cold, you have a nice dessert. Another one, you can scrape using a fork-thin scraper that produce long strips, put into pitcher, add little sugar, water, ice cubes and you'll have nice drink that is diuretic, quench thirst and cleanse your kidneys.
Those chickens be eating gooooddd haha
Love your videos so much
Which means those eggs are gonna be top-notch delish~
They be eating better than some humans😂
We should not give fatty oily food to chicken it's not dangerous but it reduce number of eggs
i love that you showed you cracked melons! we had so much rain our tomatoes burst open and i felt like a gardening failure
Same here
I still eat them!
Volunteer plants giving you freebies are the best~

I’m growing some kenacloes and strawberries in my room I tend to them every day
This might be a stupid question but how do you prevent wild animals from eating the produce and destroying the garden? (whether feral cats, squirrels, racoons, mice, etc whatever is local to you)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Young loofa gourds are actually great on soups and stews.
Those scrubers are also use as vegetable
So LUCKY you have voulenteer plants that grows without effort, i wish i had, actually i havebone small cayene chillies that happily produce big chillies and bigger than its tree 😂😂
The loufa plants can be eaten. When the fruit is young they can be peeled and put into soup they are very healthy
What did you do with all of the peppers you harvested?
She typically dries and grinds them. Occasionally she might use them in other foods that she is preserving.
Great looking garden, what part of the world are you in?
Where did you get your luffa seeds?? I want to grow some next year!
What did you do with the harvest? You keep all of them, sell some or give some to people?
Bounties of harvest
What did you do to cover you’re strawberry plants?
You can eat green and tender lufas, in india we mostly eat that
❤❤❤
The cayenne part is so funny😭 it’s like a jumpscare for some reason
My sweet corn this yea came out wonky and caterpillars ate most of them? What did you do? 😊
How did you get those vine looking nets for your honeydew?
How do you keep away the critters?
I want to know how long you can use the loofas
What do you do with the loop of sponges
How much did it cost you to build those chickens house
Make a fish curry with your young green loofahs(it’s edible) -it’s delicious and a traditional meal in my country.
😊
What state are you in again? I've been talking with my sister about growing luffa but we're up north
Do you guys eat the lufa like not the exact lufa but the fruit
You can eat the white part of the sunflower head too
I saw in a video people used beeswax to help cracked fruits and vegetables
This makes me so happy but also sad that it's not me
I’m not even kidding right now… My cat liked this video using his paw

Have you ever tried to make soup or a stir fried dish with your luffa squash?
Damn if we all just did this 😢😢
💯🌧🙏
HOW DO I AQUIRE THIS LIFE. WHAT ARE THE STEPS I MUST TAKE.
U can cook the not mature fruit of loofah plant... Yummy
Growing your own food has to be the best thing to do because you don’t need to buy the food and vegetables 🥦
So you let the loofah dry on the vine?
Just curious do you really eat luffas?
I want to be your neighbor 😻
