And for Classical Dan there's the opera aria Nessun Dorma, or Time to Say Goodbye, or his "one-man choir" version of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, which is mind-blowing. Yes, Dan could absolutely perform on Broadway or anywhere else. But I think having to defer to bosses, directors, etc would stifle his amazing spirit that we all love. He is a free soul and I would never want to see any part of him forced into a box.🕊️

When it comes to Dan….I fully believe he can do it all….whatever it is…and he will put his everything into it! It is so true about his clear enunciation and also that he is multilingual. Acting, singing, writing, composing, directing, music mastering…etc! If Dan can see it, he can do it! I loved your amazing comments, and agree with you. Truly an amazing performance by Dan. I don't think Broadway would ever be his style, although I am sure he is honored that we think so of him. Dan is a metal singer and that is what he loves. Your brother has covered many of the songs that I would recommend for you to watch that showcase his range and performing skills, like Gethsemane and I'll Make a Man Out of You, and also Burn Butcher Burn. To hear his beautiful falsetto, A Tale That Wasn't Right from Helloween is a great one. And the outro is good, too. Thanks so much for your knowledgeable reaction and I look forward to many more.

There is nothing to add to that. It is always a pleasure to listen to you and Stephen. Yes, Dan Vasc is a vocal acrobat. And this song is one of my favorites, as are the Witcher covers, Bohemian Rhapsody, Manowar, Helloween.....ok, I'll make it short... All the songs.....are among my favorites 😝🤘❤️.

This is my favorite out of his Phantom covers. Dan has said he is a big Phantom of the Opera fan, especially of the movie because it allows for more creative options than a regular stage version. He definitely is good enough to do Broadway, but don't be surprised if he doesn't pursue it. He's very happy being independent and has said before that he refuses to give control over to a record label and has no interest in being anyone's "employee". I love his fiercely independent nature. Great reaction.

He could outsing many performers on Broadway, that's for sure. But, *should* he? Nope. He should stay put & sing whatever he feels like singing. There's nothing much worse than *having* to perform. He excels right where he is. (Plus Broadway doesn't record for all audiences to hear )

I live in NYC and have seen Phantom several times ... does he equal the others .. no ..he surpasses them! He can sing anything from classics, to metal, to opera...I was first introduced to Dan with Amazing Grace and have been addicted ever since. Yes, Daniel is everything you said and more, I've exhausted my vocabulary of superlatives for this incredible young man... couldn't be prouder of him if he was my own son...🥰
Just one little gripe with this reaction,,, you went back to listen to the ending again and stepped all over the final note... again! Dan holds his diction right to the end with the slightly exaggerated pronunciation of the "t" of "night" during the fade out of the video. It's, for me, one of the best parts of the whole production...😊

Are you just talking about the last t in the final word? He held that note for almost 16 seconds and I didn’t speak the entire time until the very end either time, so I’m a little confused how it was stepped all over?

There are a lot of lyrics I never fully understood.. until Dan sang them. His pronounciation is perfect! And I love how he shows the diversity in the persona of the phantom.

YOU MENTIONED AND EXPLAINED THE DISSONANCE! I'm so HAPPY! I usually bring it up, and nobody knows what in the heck I'm talking about. I TOTALLY love the dissonance with the "fade to black" right there at the end, as well. I always sing along with it. It's like I was taught. It's SO important to the whole song, and you said it EXACTLY! Thank you VERY much! The rest of your reaction was wonderful, also, but you really blew me away by knowing about the dissonance, and WHY it's there, and how UTTERLY WELL Dan does it!!!
My daughter Judi and I have listened to this one together several times. We both have loved it for a LONG time, and we both think Dan is the BEST one to present it, that we've ever heard, and that's saying a LOT!

I'm not certain that Dan would like performing on Broadway. But. There are movies made of Broadway plays (Les Miz and Phantom)for which actors who were either shaky (Phantom) or terrible (Les Miz).
People used to say that a singer sells a song or presents a song. Dan is extremely skilled at that. And, here is the but. Despite his skills, he seems to be a bit of a hermit. Making a movie that might take him 6 months could be exactly where this talented man finds his place.

@@setonhillstudios I think you do a great job of choosing where and when to pause, and you always go back before that point, so that nothing is lost. Also, sometimes you bring up points that perhaps others might not know about until you mentioned them. I don't mind that type of stopping, in the least.
Some reactors simply make a point of stopping at the end of every couple of sentences, or whatever patterns they do all the time, all the time, all the time, and they don't go back, either. When THAT happens, the whole song gets broken into tiny pieces that really don't get themselves back together for the whole.
You two do NOT do that. I greatly appreciate how you wait for patterns to come to an end, or when there's something that others may never have noticed, if you had NOT stopped very briefly to mention it.
For me, those things are very important. Thank you. 😀

If you liked this, wait until you see his passionate portrayal of Christ in "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar. Don't pass it by just as I did. I didn't appreciate the musical because much of it doesn't reflect a true Biblical perspective. However this song does a remarkable job demonstrating how any regular human might think. Christ was not just a man, He was God and man.
