Little Mix really enabled Jade to find her fire. Kelly eye for talent and where they belong as solo or group is insane. She was 1000% correct. Her voice is so pretty it just needed that charisma to unleash. Tulisa unlocked that in Jade as she knew that was the part holding her back. From this to sweet melody opening scene WHEEEEEW.... PROUD of Her!

Kelly knew that Jade was shy. It's ironic the face that Jade did after Kelly said she would prefer her in a girl group when year's later she would be part of one the most successful best selling girl group of all time. Kelly must be so proud she gave Jade the Destiny's Child blessings literally.

I think its truly amazing how kelly instantly could see all the girls in their individual auditions except perrie in a group and what a success story they became Jade has a beautiful voice and together with the other 3 girls harmonies and voices it worked so well because their harmonies were always so beautiful and blended so well together Jade has always had that adorable disney character look

They wouldn't have been a trio lol they just would've selected someone else as there were quite a few girls in the running, 2 separate groups IIRC and then they selected the final 4.

I never really listen to pop music but listening to this audition, I can understand why they said she should be in a girl group. If she had fire in her performance, she would've been a solo artist for sure.
Her middle and low register didn't really have that key and power of a solo artist but would've complimented harmonies in a girl group.
After just stumbling across her latest solo single in my YT feed, they were right. She definitely has unlocked and unleashed her power.
Power to her and I hope she does well. You can see she's fought with herself to try this for a 3rd time. She doesn't hide her soul. You can see it in her eyes 😊

I came back str8 out of the first watch of the Angel Of My Dreams MV. It made me cry like the first time i saw this clip last year Young Jade you've come so far :') And yes Kelly and Tulisa rlly saw through her and all those years of Little Mix helped her find her fire if you see her evolution over the years. To the Sweet Melody opening and AOMD the vocals, the concept the artistry. QUEEN

Sometimes people think they know you better than you know yourself. She knew what she wanted since age 18. When you're your own artist and not bowing down to this simulated/constructed pressure that's created by these stupid shows, all the power is yours. Being shy is just someone's personality. Fuck them for making anybody feel insecure for who they are. I was told the same things by these people, and everyone around me. Be savvy, make the right connections, be financially independent and STICK TO YOUR GUNS. That's how I do my music now, and I've never been prouder. WELL DONE JADE ❤

If I was Kelly I'd be insulted. She made her name in one of the biggest girl group's in Destiny's Child. There's nothing to scrunch your face up about that. If you don't go on that stage and sing your face off you should count yourself lucky that they see you working in the industry at all.
At the same time Jade was 17 and typically someone wanting to be solo and hearing they should be in a group would throw you off a bit lol
probably because girlgroups in x factor uk always end up being eliminated early in the show
Kelly wasnt put into a manufactured group with people she didnt know. She was in a group with childhood friends. Thats the difference. If she asked Jade to be in a girl group with 3 of her best childhood friends you would not have seen a face scrunch. Thats why kelly wasnt insulted. She gets it
