It should be like Japan where you’re not allowed a car unless you have a driveway and somewhere to park it - it’s so frustrating when you’re learning to drive and some people even park just before junctions 😡
Hi Chris, Greetings from India. I have been learning how to drive for the last three weeks. I have an outstanding instructor. At the same time, your videos have been a great help for me to consolidate the instructions given by my instructor. This and other videos on how to drive in traffic have been of immense help since I am being taught on the busy traffic roads too! If you might have been to India, it's scary to drive here! My instructor, who has 30 years of driving experience, says the same thing - It's really important to plan ahead and never be in a rush whether you are on a busy road or on the highway.
Passed my test today with 2 minors. Thanks World Driving for all the informative vids, really helped me to stay focused and relaxed on my test. Good luck to those taking their test soon!
Thank you for this great video. It is the situtation which I currently struggling with. Apart from demonstrating the Good way, your "Not Great" demo is very helpful too.
Really amazing video as always. Your instructions and advice are clear and understandable for anyone. This video can help me improving with dealing with meeting traffic in a variety of situations. I am gradually getting better with my driving as it has been a few months today since I passed 1st time in January. Thanks and keep up the amazing work!
I failed my test on 06th Of October 23. Just 1 unexpected serious that was (meeting and judgement)I was overtaking a park car less than 1 meter away away but more than 2 feet at Chadderton cz one car suddenly emerged from a side road but examiner took it serious😢1 minor for signal necessary. he was a nice guy after all bad luck😢😭😭😭😭😭. I watched your most of the videos that helped me a lot. Tnx
Sorry to hear you didn't pass your test, but it sounds like you were very close! Just one unexpected situation can sometimes make the difference. It's great to hear that our videos have been helpful to you. Keep practicing and stay positive, and I'm sure you'll pass your test next time! #KeepGoing #NextTimeSuccess
When bear left and right on tight bend and crossing parked cars where on the bend shoud we put our cars as we have to be careful for the on coming traffic as well. Please suggest me a video link of you when you have a time.. Thank you so much.
Hi chris, thank you so much for uploading outstanding videos, my test is due next week and its midnight and m watching your videos and i feel like i can do it. Thank you 😊
Hello from Austin, Texas! Getting better at manual driving thanks to your videos. Would you be able to share advice on how to go up an immediate steep hill? For example, I was on the highway, then had to exit on to the service road and had to slow down then turn right. That right was an immediate hill and it scared the heavens out of me.
If at a stop. Use your handbrake and get the biting point ready using the clutch and gas, then slowly release the clutch allowing you to move on... lower and raise the clutch pedal to move slowly until the road is clear.
@@juliehernandez80 depending on the steepness of the hill change down to either second or third and just let off the clutch normally and the car will climb the hill steadily, then as the revs get higher and you hear your engine getting loud "asking" for a higher gear shift up. If it's a long climb, ride it out in third until you get to the top then change up.
No mention of indicating to change lanes when passing parked vehicles which is surprising, as in some cases at least it is a lane change. Also in the case of commercial vehicles the obstruction is hidden from following traffic so a right hand indication is an appropriate way of warning. Always allowing that there is no confusion if there is a road junction where a signal could be taken as an intention to turn rather than a lane change
Steering for space on the type of roads shown here is not a Lane Change. Signal to move again after holding back can be useful though. I some cases essential.
Thank u for all those videos they are very helpful I have been watching them all for last 2 months as I’m taking my test next week on my own car which is auto I have just one question if u can help please as I’m waiting on traffic light do I need to apply my hand break if my car is automatic or no need ? Thank a lot
i feel very comfortable like it's a smooth ride even watching u drive in the video. maybe you can do another video on pulling over the left side of curb especially? we normally drive on right side of road here in USA. So we barely have to pull over on the left. Ppl say to steer toward left side of curb until 1/3 of the front of the car aligns with the curb then turn the steering in the opposite direction to get the car straight. I think the left 1/3 and right 2/3 of the car is at the same position? it's about where the right side of the steering wheel is. Maybe you can just answer my question here w/o doing a video on it. Thanks.

This is where you roll down your window, and do rock paper scissors to figure out who is going to reverse. Here's a tip: they usually pick scissors.
If I don't leave enough space and have to adjust to make space, would that be a serious fault
If your wing mirrors aren't inches away from the hedgerow its not a tight road.... these roads are just normal uk roads
Mack more test
My test in 2 hours
Hope it goes well 🙂
