That is a proper truck sound. The vacuum cleaner in reverse sound of the V6 kills it for me. I don'r care if it had 2000 hp, the motor just sounds "un healthy"..

Lives up to its name
I have a Ford F750 Velociraptor 6x6 Hennessey 2018 Truck with a V8 Engine and Chevy Impala Shocks + custom controls. I have Velociraptor and Lamborghini speed combined in this kind of 6 wheeled monster and extreme intelligence of a Tesla and a touchscreen that has a tracker and even more. A sunroof where you can stick ur head out and shoot rivals chasing after or running away from the truck. It has really bright lights and can be dimmed if needed. It has LED Lights in the front and back head lights and I can change any color if I want to. I can do hard burnouts to avoid enemies and the enemy crashes in a dead end. There is a gun in front of the sunroof when someone else is able to shoot at a rival. I call the driver side rifle and like usual I call the passenger side shotgun. My truck is bulletproof, even the windows are bulletproof. I can fill my car up with diesel gas like most big ass trucks. I also have a train horn on the truck to scare off enemies. I have speakers that have extremely hard bass. I have last but not least, a machine gun bolted in the back of the truck and a cage for awful people. That is a tough truck that I have in history right guys? Let me know about your thoughts by replying to me.

Latnlvr Actually the ecoboost would still sell better than a supercharged v8 option. The much higher price and fuel economy would keep most buyers in the ecoboost side. Just look at the standard F 150 as an example. The highest selling engine is the ecoboost v6 by far. People like you and I who prefer that natural v8 power and sound are unfortunately in the minority now. The idea of having a stronger, smaller, and more fuel efficient engine excites most sellers even if it means not having a v8 sound.
Thanos you don’t buy a raptor for its economy. You buy a raptor because you want to drive like a hooligan and you are planning on ripping up some trails!! Yes the eco boost might be good for your commuter car but a raptor is made to be fire breathing ozone destroying gas guzzling monster!!

Ford has lost the original purpose of the eco boost, it was to be fuel efficient while also being powerful. THE 6.2 V8 HAS 13 MPG COMBINED AND THE NEW ONE HAD 16. So what’s the point you might as well get the supercharged 5.0 without all the downsides of the v6
(Not saying that it initially did its job because as soon as you hit the gas or tow something with the eco boost the mpg numbers drop by like 4)

Okay, impressive, all I want is the Coyote 5.0 liter and I can build that up myself, Ford Raptor is going to be way too expensive. Don't need that much power, don't need that much volume on the exhaust. Ford please give us some options on the build sheet
