I’m new to all this. But how would I go from a big tall tank like yours to a smaller tank for a mini torch?? Need a little help , it’s for a smith little torch
How do you know what adapter to by for an 870 post valve? The devilbis brand for oxygen concentrators supposedly claims that it is not compatible with oxygen tanks that are not their brand but I have a hard time believing that.
@victoriakalaydjian2935, So I am trying to sort out your question a little bit. Typically you would use either a concentrator or a tank, but not both. And I am not aware of any time at which the concentrator and tank are connected. The medical oxygen tank will accept an 870 oxygen regulator. If you have more questions, you can contact us at info@o3vets.com. Thank you!
Hi John. Without knowing what the port on back of your concentrator looks like or what type of port it is, we can't answer that question. If it has a 540 CGA or 870 CGA port, then it would probably work.
Hi: Do you mean the transfill hose? O3Vets sells them. We have one that has two 570 (medical oxygen tank) ends and one that has one 570 (medical) end and a 840 (industrial oxygen tank) end.
How many d size cylinders can you fill from a 300 CU FT Cylinder before they start filling below the full Mark? Example: after 10 tanks they will be only 3/4 full
Hello Roy, I'm sorry that I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm sure a little math would get you the answer...I'm not the person to do it.=)
Hi Sean: Thanks for your question. It is safe to use industrial oxygen for animal ozone therapy. Here's a blog that will tell you all you need to know about industrial vs medical oxygen: www.o3vets.com/how-to-find-oxygen-for-ozone-therapy/
Hello, I'm afraid that I cannot answer that question, but I doubt it. Usually a concentrator will only put out a very low pressure which will not be enough to fill a tank...plus I would assume there are legal ramifications to filling your own tanks that way. Hope that helps
Hi: Here is the link to our transfill hoses. Depending on which one you need, there may be a short lead time. We are currently out of the 870 to 540 hose, but have the 870 to 870 hose in stock. www.o3vets.com/product/870-870-oxygen-transfill-hose/
What is the working pressure of medical O2 bottles? My big industrial is at 2250psi and I don’t want to over pressure a smaller medical bottle but I can’t find a pressure rating anywhere
Hi Jill, medical grade oxygen is not going to explode, but it can feed a fire if it's already burning. Not something you really need to worry about though.
Thank you! I will be filling mine with regular compressed air for an alternative purpose!
Thanks for the video! I always wondered how my oxygen company refills those!
Thank you for the information I'm trying to learn how to do it
You are so welcome
Can I fill industrial to industrial if I have a big welding gas bottle and a smaller one?
Hi Danna, we don't carry those transfill hoses but you CAN do it if you can find the right connection.

Where can I buy a transfill hose
you can purchase one on our website www.o3vets.com/product/oxygen-transfill-hose/
Great video! Can you fill an industrial tank from a medical grade tank?
Yep, the tank with the greater pressure will fill to the tank with the lesser

Hello, yes we can do that!
does the transfill hose allow me to connect the oxygen port on the back of a Devilbiss 10L concentrator to a tank?
Hi John. Without knowing what the port on back of your concentrator looks like or what type of port it is, we can't answer that question. If it has a 540 CGA or 870 CGA port, then it would probably work.
Hi, from where we can have that transfer pipe?

Hi, at a bare minimum you'll need two oxygen tanks and a transfill hose.

Honest question, is there any concern with using industrial O2 in a medical application?
Hi Sean: Thanks for your question. It is safe to use industrial oxygen for animal ozone therapy. Here's a blog that will tell you all you need to know about industrial vs medical oxygen: www.o3vets.com/how-to-find-oxygen-for-ozone-therapy/
How many portable oxygen tanks can you fill with that elephant tank?
There are many different size portable tanks, however, the D tank that I have in the video holds 425 liters while the larger tank holds about 7,000
Would these connections work with a home oxygen condenser to fill bottles??
Hello, I'm afraid that I cannot answer that question, but I doubt it. Usually a concentrator will only put out a very low pressure which will not be enough to fill a tank...plus I would assume there are legal ramifications to filling your own tanks that way. Hope that helps
do you have a 540 to 540 transfill adapter?
No, I'm sorry. We only have a 870 to 540 transfill hose.

Does medical oxygen explode?

Oxygen is not combustable. However, it SUPPORTS combustion extremely well. Just be careful it is not exposed to anything burning.
