Footsie is too underrated. He's one of the coldest Grime MC's in the game.
The Grime Show on Rinse Fm has had some really good sets. Most of them are great.
The ones with DJ Grandmixxer (red thumbnails) are a great example of TECHNICAL grime. The mixing and chopping from Grandmixxer is ridiculous. Those skills on the decks alongside the riddim selection makes these sets incredibly testing for MCs. Grandmixxer REALLY makes them work lol. But, it brings the best out of people. I’d recommend the Manga one as an example.
Grandmixxer works very closely with Mez. Mez is like his protege who he has taken under his wing.
Grandmixxer X Mez as a DJ / MC duo have their own unique flavour of grime. It’s absolutely an acquired taste, but I love it.
Footsie’s up there with all the legends, cold MC. Not strictly for YT, but if you haven’t already, you should check out his No Favours album that dropped in 2020. Arguably the grime record of the year!
the beat at 6 minutes from skeptas beat is insane, manga scrufizzer and maxsta grime sessions have an insane b2b on that beat
Lmao what you said bout JME is so true. Man's just himself. If you listen to podcasts that he's in he says some random bullshit but he's so confident in it
Scorcher is a cold producer aswell as MC, he produced some classic grime tracks.
Facts man needs to drop a unreleased beat tape.
Jme & D Double - Thuggish Ruggish
Is an old school song they have together on that skepta beat at the end .
Couple D Double tunes from his album:
D double E - Shenanigans
D double E - Lyrical hypnosis
cool that you checked this out, i was gonna rec it
Okay, i will start to tell you when you are in the weeds 😂. I didn’t before because I didn’t want to seem too critical. I was genuinely appreciative of you covering grime sets, even if they’re obscure ones
yeah I feel the same way honestly no one has delved that deep into it so I appreciate it regardless but it gets to a point😅
@@nahman34 as a grime fan from nottingham, it was cool to see him reacting to Bru C’s birthday set on JDZ Media with some of the local MCs from back then, but at the same time I was thinking ‘wtf, how did he get here?!’ Hahaha
Logan sama chosenones
footsie vs scratchy lotm is a must see
Classic. Snoop Dogg hopped on the remix of a d double e tune haha
That mountain of weeds shit is exactly what he killing the reaction channels. Just letting themselves repeatedly listen to mid and then they wonder why viewer retention drops
Yea the weeds are dangerous 😂😂 I just be in the weeds as I love it all.
You need to listen to the "boy beyter know westwood freetyle 2007 full version" best grime radio set ever. Skepta jme big h and bossman
Devlin April showers
Devlin corned beef city

Eskimo dance 1 is a must set bro! True foundation of the grime scene! Before it was called grime! Before the mcs became legends! Eskimo dance 1 2003 is a must bro! Loving the reactions
