- This video offers a glimpse into how I spend my weekends preparing for the first pigeon race of the season. It’s a labor-intensive process with no shortcuts, and if you’re seeking something simpler, pigeon racing might not be the best fit. However, if you have a passion for working with pigeons and are willing to put in the effort, this rewarding hobby can be incredibly fulfilling.

Thank you, I will my friend
Enjoyed the video Mike. Birds are looking good. Best of luck on the races.
Thanks brother , you too!
That’s very interesting I have never had that experience. Glad you figured it out and hopefully you will get good babies. Good luck 🕊️🕊️🕊️😘😘😘
I got a single hatch from that pair last time and it is beautiful. So its to bad they can't be nice because I don't want to deal with that every time!
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons hopefully they won’t do the same thing next time 👍👍😊😊😊🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Hey Mike your birds are looking good. Well trained for sure. I have never saw babies be aggressive like that.
Hi Thomas, just a very strange situation that both of them would be so aggressive, but I will switch the pairs around and see where that aggressive gene is coming from. Definitely don’t want to deal with that nonsense. Hope everything is going well for you, my friend.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons hopefully that works for you. I’m doing very well. I sold all of my birds last week. I’m out of the pigeon business for now. Maybe someday when I have more time I can get back into it. I hated to do it, but it just wasn’t fair to the birds since I didn’t have much time. I found a guy that’s about half my age and has plenty of time to spend with them.
like your setup
Thanks for watching and commenting ✌️
Hi Mike, this is Jay in Orlando, Fl. If you are looking to sell a male Pakistani Highflyer or a very young pair/nest mates that I can train would be great. I was gifted two Pakistani hens and am looking to keep a small kit of them.
I also keep a small kit of homers as well.
Love your videos and how you take care of your loft, birds. Nice work.
Please let me know if this is something we can make happen at some point.
I'm in Orlando, Fl, just an FYI.
Best Regards, J.
Hi Jay, I have a young pair of nestmates that are ready to be trained. Please send me an email

Nice. Im wondering how many more Michigan Birds are in there? ☺
2 left, I lost the BC to pigeon pox. It was so disappointing to have to lose it to a mosquito! Still have two nice looking blue bars 😀
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons it happened. We only need one good one. Im wondering which Birds are those 2? Oh well they still need to make it the 1st Race.
@@ericarrozal3324 still have 1090 and 1089
Hey Mike, what if you paired the parents of the aggressive young with different birds to see if either parent bird is passing on an aggressive gene or something. just a thought.
@@ianmurray9201 That’s a great idea. Because I really would like to weed out the problem it’s not much fun dealing with that type of nonsense. Thanks for your suggestion.
