My story is similar to Saifullah. I'm a Pakistani, proud Muslim, who is attracted to the same sex. Oh how badly I wish I was heterosexual. Baki logon ko pata hai shadi ho jani hai. Hum jese apni khuwahishat kabhi poori nahi kar sakte. Humein bas daraya jata hai keh hum jins parasti ki ye saza hai ye wo. Mujhe achi tarah pata hai aur na mein wo sab karna chahta hun. Lekin bas azmaish hi itni bari hai. There is zero support system for us. Koi psychiatric ya religious help nai di jati. Scholars beth ke Qoum e Lut ki saza sunayein gein, ye nai batayein gein hum ab kya karein. Mein acha Musalman banna chahta hun. Hum jese log bhi HEIN. Being attracted to the same sex and having such desires is NOT a choice. Ye aik azmaish hai. I am not here to say keh support the show or something, but to tell everyone that people like me, Muslims like me exist. I literally had these desires for as long as I remember (which is around 5-6 years old, I knew I liked men sexually, but not that it was wrong or what gay meant). There could be many factors that made me this way but I don't care. If anyone of you empathizes with, be a voice for people like us. Logon ko batayein hum jese log hote hein jinka apni khuwahish par qaboo nahi hota aur hum Islam ke asoolon ke mutabiq zindagi guzarna chahte hein. Just like normal people are attracted to the opposite of sex and can't suddenly become attracted to the same sex, we can't become heterosexual if we want, although I would literally do anything to be normal. Logon ko batayein keh agar aap ke aas paas koi aisa shaks hai, bajaye usko maarne dhamkaane ke, usko insan, Musalman samajhiye aur usko batayein keh aap unke saath hein. Keh Allah unko iss azmaish ka ajar dega. Unko psychiatric help dein. Mene apne kisi jaan ne wale ko bata diya tou log mujhe shayad marne par ajayein, marne par nahi tou mere relatives ya parents ka aik dum se dil toot jaye ga jese mene koi bohat bara gunah kar diya hai, jese ye mere haathon mein tha.
