- The Jordan 1 High 85' Metallic Burgundy released on 02/16/2024 for a price of $200. Although the released was pushed back to June, a couple of retailers released the shoe on the original release date. The Metallic Burgundy is said to be one of the rarest and hardest to find of the 85' Metallic series.

Best way to explain in 85 high is they were built to play ball in OG one high are built for lifestyle , they’re board blasted and all.
I went 1/2 size up in these , after black n whites feel like run short. Love em mine just came yesterday.

The 85s from 85 all of the black based shoes, the black, red black, royal black, medium, gray, a.k.a. the shadow all have nylon tongues all of the white models the metallic series, the Chicago’s the black toe all have cloth tongue.
These are absolutely FIRE, bro! The 85 cut, the canvas tongues, the first times the burgundy colorway has retro'd. I mean....what's NOT to love?? These are a must cop for me. Dope video and dope review, homie!

The Neutral Grays were way too stiff/tight. Took forever to break in. The rest after that broke in much more easily. Never had the red pair from the Airship pack, so can't speak to it.
Can't wait to grab this burgundy pair. Hope they don't take too long in getting us the other metallics we haven't seen rereleased in OG High yet (green, black, and orange).
Yes, the white pair is very stiff. I believe Chris from Weartesters explained why the neutral grey was so stiff if you want to watch his video. Think he said it has something to do with the coating for the white pair. But you’re right all the others have been good. Let’s just hope they continue with the series 🤞🏼. I copped on sneaker politics also I like the shoe but Nike went cheap on the materials they went cheap on the insoles compared to previous 85s things the first time they put a cheaper insole on a 85 cut and for some reason I went a half size down and it fit perfect other than that it’s a great shoe and I like that they went with a regular Jordan 1 box and for the first time they went true to the original canvas tongue like all the original 85s
Congrats on the cop fam. The materials are ok but yes not as good, but I think if you watch Chris from Weartesters he breaks down about why the material is the way it is (I'm not good at that like he is). They did stay true with the tongue which I like and yes the insole is good, but not as good as it could be. Congrats again fam and thanks for tapping in. 💯
Man I hear people saying these inspired the AMM 1s all of a sudden, can’t find the source
I don't know the exact source myself, but like I said in the video I read where MrUnloved1 on IG said the AMM1 was inspired by it. He is a big source for anything Jordan 1 so I believe it. Go to his page and find the shoe post from Feb. 11 and maybe ask him.
I’ve seen the majority go true to size, I’ve seen a few people say they fit a little long so they went half a size down on them… I have narrow feet do you recommend me going true to size?
So I have a wide foot and need to go up a 1/2 size. These run more narrow than the OG highs. I would say don't go a half size down cause they might be snug, but depends on how you like your shoes. For a safe bet, if you are unsure, just stay true to size.

They have been on the release calendar for months. We have been getting an 85' high in February since 2020. The set release date was for February 16th. But the release date got pushed back to June. Two retailers (Sneaker Politics and Packer) still released them on the release date though.
