Cleaning tip. Buy an all purpose cleaner (APC) like the ones that car detailers use (get the one you can dilute, it’ll turn out cheaper). You would also need a microfibre cloth and a detailing brush. Obviously if your boots are muddy then hose it down or wash off as much of that mud as you can Dilute APC 10:1 or more. Spray on your microfibre cloth and wipe away. For more detailed work use the brush I do it on mine. Works like a charm. It doesn’t harm your boots, you can even use it on leather boots. Wipe the boot with a damp microfibre towel to wipe away any excess cleaner. Detailing brush is your best friend if you want to clean the nooks and crannies of your boot.
Looks like a great boot! I'll be waiting to see the AG model though and hopefully they've tweaked the design of the plate a bit to fix the cracking around the 3/4 stud on the medial side. Seen some references to the superfly 4 on the softness so I'm going to need to give these a try!
@@danielhodges6030 Nope! It's a design flaw, there are tons of threads about it on the web. The new AG plate for the 16 looks decent, but I'm not sure if it's any better as I think it's very similar. I can't imagine they didn't do something to fix it though as I would assume they saw a lot of refunds or replacements shipped out for that issue on the 15s.

I ordered the blue print in FG and mad Brilliance in SG. after i saw what happened to the Blueprint FG's on firm and dry ground, i directly returned the SG's, luckily i haven't worn them yet. It's just impossible to clean, a shame what Nike has done here not thinking about that. Sad because the boot itself is a banger.
The 3s will always remain one of my favourites, but in today’s game I feel they’re a little behind in terms of upper softness and heel fit. I love everything about them, but you feel their age when wearing them today for me /Jay

Considering the Mercurial Pro model usually has a similar upper compared to the Elite, how much different do you think this generation Pro model will be conpared to the Elite? I imagine the Pro upper won’t have the Gripknit and Atomknit, but it will still have the Elite’s Flyknit material. Considering it’s a takedown version, this will be a very impressive feature, and could even a better choice for players who would not want too much grip on their Mercurials.

As long as they're still in mint condition with no signs of wear, you should be fine to take them out of the box, try them on at home etc. Just can't play with them ofc. /Jay
Since I've been in the shoe industry for a long time and how many models I've tried and tested, I think this model is simply overrated.Nike should follow the example of Adidas because the direction Nike is heading in, even though I have always loved their shoes, scares me. I switched to f50 and I think it is a much better option for a narrow foot than such mercurial shoes. the lining inside the mercurials does not fit well, which causes pain. I do not recommend it to people with wide feet.
the quality of workmanship also differs. Along with mercurial weight reductioning comes durability. the sole is of lower quality than the phantom luna, which could crack in half. As shoes for one match, I think it's OK, but in the long run... I doubt it
Nike really should but a plastic layer or foil layer on their cleats if there is a white colorway the dirt is not getting out anymore.. i see it even on tv with pro players like cr7 and lewandowski their boots are dirty before the game starts because the dirt soaked in
