Here is my living room reveal where I show you all of my budget home styling! My goal is to show you guys that you don't need to buy the most expensive things to make your home decor look expensive. I will link everything below that I possibly can. Sorry for all the construction noise in this video! They are constantly making noise in this neighborhood and there's no escaping it haha. I absolutely love this look!! I feel like it's just the perfect mix of clean, modern and a bit of boho in the pillows and decor. It doesn't look like a typical blogger/ youtuber living room. It feels like it fits you and your home. I can see it growing with you for years to come. You can always swap a few things out to create a completely different look. Well done!! Somehow stumbled upon your channel while searching "home buyers remorse". I recently bought a 50+ yr old home in an expensive area in Charlotte and am so upset we didn't just get a new build. We've spent so much on repairs to even get our home looking decent, and have barely been able to decorate at all because of of the costly upgrades. If we just bought a new home we would have already been able to furnish the damn thing and would have been so much more economical. Didn't want to move further out in order to get a new build like yours but totally regret my decision now. Ugh! You are smart!!

I personally would hang up a bigger mirror above your table to open up that space more. Everything looks SO beautiful and fresh and minimal. I love it!

Love the black mirror! If it was in your kitchen space then I’d say to paint it back to gold but because it’s designated in the living space the black works more.

I think the mirror looks really good black, it matches the frame on the console table. I also really like your curtains. That area looks so light and airy.

Lots to love! Books storage are a fav DIY. I'd put some of those black candle sticks back on mantle in small grouping and then something made from natural materials and maybe a small faux plant on other side of mantle. The dough bowl is too big. I have mine on the hearth. Looks great 👍 You could also put it under that console table which is beautifully decorated

Mirror back to gold. Will tie into lighter ladder and I think gets lost with black legs of sofa table

I can’t believe you finished the living room already 🙌🏾👌🏾 tastefully done! If you are leaving the black mirror there, black.. although the gold may brighten/neutralize that area more and with the ladder and white vase it ‘may’ lose its effect. 🤔 definitely something to ponder based on the look you are going for.

Love your living room, and that mantle decor you have is so simple and minimally perfect. Love home goods blankets but I have gotten home with some that shed so much or fall apart so check them in store to make sure. The mirror looks good both ways- but gold would shine better with the other black table legs- but black still

Good morning! Just luv everything I think the black mirror makes the area pop I think the gold would just blend in that’s just my opinion. Yes to the air dry clay video I made my out of styrofoam balls. You did a great job on yours I though you wear going to say they came from pottery barn. I want a white sectional but your blue looks great in your room looking forward to the next video. Have a great weekend.

Although I am a lover of all things gold and I’m really into the antique gold gilded mirrors and frames. This could totally work if it’s gold but I feel like you need at least one of 2 small gold things to tie it in the room like maybe a skinny brass candlestick on the other side of the room ;)

I was so impressed with the clay ball piece. Like it looks like it was meant to go in that bowl. I wish I had an eye for style like that, but I know the next time I buy my house, I am going to take my time finding pieces. Also, I loved the change you did to the books. That was such a helpful trick. And what a great find in that floor lamp. Great video. :)

Love the space, great dying with the storage books. I like the mirror black and Hobby Lobby has one almost the same and it's black. You gave me courage to use curtains in my space I have alot of windows like you and could not figure out if curtains or Shades would be best.. Great job love it.

I love love love your livingroom! I bought a navy couch on a whim (I just moved into my house 3 days ago) and crossing my fingers it pulls together. I saw this video and said “yes! I def made a great choice and cannot wait to decorate now!” As far as your rug goes, a lot of designers have been doubling up on their rugs. Starting with a textured one like yours and adding a smaller softer one on top. Layering looks cute. Maybe try that? 🥰🥰

Black is good color for the mirror. As your style changes it might a good to repaint it and the console table gold in the future.

Love the shape and the black of the mirror and goes so beautifully with the table. I think too, it ties to the black pendants in the kitchen. Doesn’t overwhelm the space it anchors it. Love your blanket ladder, have been looking for an interesting one myself. Will have to keep my eyes open. Would love to learn more on the clay, I never knew this was a thing. Definitely love the beeds and will try my hand at making some as I have been looking around and can’t find what I like so will just make them! Thank you for the inspiration, your home is beautiful. I also appreciate the fact that you don’t always hit it out of the park, ie the little lamp in the kitchen, (kitchen reveal) Bravo for keeping it real and showing that you will try again and third times a charm, I thought I was the only one that bought, tried and returned!!! Hi! I think you're right about painting your mirror black which is the same color as the console's feet, the plastic olives, the mantel's floor, and the curtain holders, too. I love the décor you put in your house because it balances one's mood.
