I knew the front ends looks weird on the newer models i thought i was trippin.. i like the old faces better
I got a 2016 GT and honestly , I know just about every difference in the 18 and up compared to the 15-17, but have never even completely noticed the front end going down farther to give a sleeker look. I’ve always kind of noticed it, but never completely realized that the front end is actually that different. The spoiler I run would look so much nicer on a 18 and up. My wing kind of gives the Mustang a different look, kind of looks a little sporty, so I definitely think it would look more sleek with that sleeker front end .
Go with a H pipe over the x pipe if you want sound example check my shorts full exhaust, h-pipe, headers, cai, & tune

I put an H pipe, Roush CAI and bama tune on our 2017 GT convertible automatic and I love it! Added some muscle car rumble and the 6 speed auto is worth paddle shifting more than a 10 speed would be in my opinion.

Enjoy your car I had a 2015 5.0 I got in 2015 I loved my car but man it didn't seem to stack up that well to the competition honestly. Got a 2018 10r80 pp1 premium in 2018 and its a beast haven't looked back since. 1st mod definitely should be exhaust, thats a given for any car but a 15-17 5.0 its a necessity. Tail lights are different, 18 has direct injection along with port fuel injection, 18 has can rev higher to 7500 rpm and the 18 is slightly more than 5.0. Its like 5.035 some some but they kept the namesake of course. Stock on paper hp numbers are 2017 with 435 and 18 with 460 but it's underrated dyno reveals more. Enjoy brother

How has your experience been with the 10r80? I’m looking at one with 97k miles and am interested in the lifespan. Though rn I have a 135k 2015 and the 6 speed is still vibing.

I like the 10r80 man one of my dream cars the tail lights are slightly different they got a curve at the top and bottom I just love everything about the car

Get rid of those all season stock tires. They don’t grip at all. Try Nittos or Mickey Thompson Street Comps bruh. Even with a stock 5.0 you can fell the difference.
My stock tires are p zero Nero’s. Is that ok?

Good race he would have walked you for sure ,but that’s to be expected he has 20 HP more than you do right out of the box .......LMR shows 3705 curb weight on both ,but shows you at 440 hp LaRoy @460 ....I thought it was 435 they must have bumped it 5 hp from 2015 for the 2017 I guess ....who knows ,but good race !!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

What's up beautiful car my 17 is an exact duplicate I went to Mustang Week with a stock set up like yours compared to the other Mustangs it sounded like my car was not even on. Lol so I got a Roush axle back solved that problem then got an xpipe try it I will not be dissapointed the whole set up is Roush.

My 20 gt 301a package did 4.7 me only, and 4.9 with a passenger so far.... all stock.
Another thing that could be slowing the 18+ is the wheels they look like 20s or more

If I get a auto on my first GT, it’s gonna be a 6 speed auto because then 10 speeds sound weird as hell shifting through all those gears. I’m looking to get a manual but I don’t really know how to drive a manual

You can tell these guys don't really know much about cars. It's a 5.0, right? Lol, OMG. Plus, you can tune the 6R80 and that 10R80 to shift much faster. Especially if you swap the Torgue Convertors out with higher stall RPM.

2 things changing the sounds is the 6r80 is a 5.0L and I believe the 10r80 engine is a 5.2 and also revs a little bit higher redline both sound good straight piped
