Agree, between the pose and the details in his rock skin, this is easily the best Doomsday.
Great unboxing and review as always. I really enjoy every aspect of your reviews and your camera work is second to none. This is a great looking Doomsday but I have to respectfully disagree with you when you say "It's the best Doomsday statue around" because in my opinion, the Prime 1 Doomsday is still the most Comic Accurate statue to date and is still the one to beat (imho of course).
I'll continue to tune in for more reviews. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this amazing piece.

I respect your opinion and others. I just prefer a more modern look to these characters and XM provided just that, so to me, this is a perfect DD.

I know you love your P1 DD but i dig the modern style more than the accuracy of the comic pieces. Thats why this is the best DD for me!
This one looks really good best Doomsday yet! I also prefer your videos to be taken indoors. I gives me a better idea, on how it would look on a shelf.

I like the overall statue, but the portaits aren't for me. Its based more on newer art. In original story he was emotionless except for a couple key moments and didn't rage out like this. Why I don't connect with this Doomsday.
I hear you. A lot of people prefer the accurate version of the comics, but i just love the modern take on these characters.

I have to assume DC restricts XM from deviating too far from the original character design. Sometimes I wish Marvel would be more strict with their license with regards to honoring the comics. Too bad the only thing Marvel (Disney) seems to do is make the pieces worse. Not letting Apocalypse have his gun pointing out towards the viewer is just stupid. It’s not as though a 1500 dollar statue is being purchased by children. Some of Marvel’s decisions make zero sense.
Well, DC gave XM permission to do an original concept such as samurai line which i think is good.
A lot of things do require for the license to be approve though. thats why a lot of people turn to customs. You have to know that these companies are trying to make the best statues possible for us.
Great2 statue but I think he is too small . Xm always smaller compare to p1 . Just look how massive berserk quarter scale compared to this .
Sure, he could be bigger but its already so heavy with this one 😅
