As a boxer you want to be the best, make good money and have fights that fans will remember for decades. Very few achieve this and he achieved it (though some will dispute it), everything he does now is icing on the cake for his career and legacy.
He may be 33 but he's been a pro since 15, his body is feeling the years of beating. The Benividez fight is now him as the old guard taking on the new guard. I still think he KOs Benavidez but it's gonna be an ugly fight

Canelo has a great resume and is a confirmed hof so in that respect he don’t need to prove much or fight anyone. However when he hold a championship belt none of that matters and u do have to prove urself against the best, no picking and choosing

The only reason I’d argue that canelo gets a 9 because he didn’t change his approach against Bivol he’s got a recipe that works and he sticks to it but fighters with 10 IQ should be able to adapt to who’s in front of them but that’s my opinion great work

Yes that's generational talent. Also Bivol? His whole pro career, he's at 175 and never moved up. When he jumps 3 or 4 divisions or you know what? Even 2 divisions, tell him to grab all the titles at cruiserweight or bridgerweight and then come talk about Canelo, someone that jumped 4 divisions for a 5"8 tall fighter. And don't mention Mayweather, that's easily one of the greatest fighters of all time, an all time great. They ALL lost to him.

No. You can't build a reputation of never ducking & when you finally reach the top refuse to give the young guys who everyone wants to see you fight the shot. Fight Benavidez.
