My 93-year-old father, who was introduced to RUclips recently, came across this song. A few weeks ago he asked me to come and sit and listen to it with him. He wondered where the video was taken? Italy I guessed. Does anyone know for sure? He thought this song was beautiful and hummed it around the house my mom said until he fell ill a week ago and unexpectedly died. We played this song in his memorial video. ❤️

I think this is one of the "all time" greatest melodies ever written. Something I would love to hear is a "steel guitar" rendition of this song, it just begs to be played on a steel, with all the syrupy goodness it would bring to this song.

Prepared Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, garlic bread (LIGHT on the garlic), with a tossed Caesar salad, and a "little" Chianti, served on a traditional red-checkered table cloth with candles. Topped off the meal with cannolis for dessert (Found them on top of the bakery counter, next to a staple gun. Yeah, ..."took the cannolis, left the gun").
I can imagine being held by someone I love dancing a waltz to this romantic tune with the moon shining on the water of the lake in Italy with a gentle breeze carrying the perfume of the nearby flowers ..bliss.
