I remember my first rebuild on one of those motors I made a go cart and had a great feeling after that motor started and it ran. I loved it.
Good to see you back in action, brother!
For future reference, Mrs. Mook, (of "Junkyard Digs" fame) pronounces it,
"carpotater" instead of "carburetor."
It is amazing that people still do this!
OMG so glad you mentioned you DID put oil in. I was watching like "NOOOOOOO" 🤣🤣🤣
Keep the info coming!
Will do!
Back in high school I stuffed one of these things in a schwin beach cruiser bike frame. 10 tooth centrifugal clutch to an 85 tooth combine sprocket. It was scary fast. I might slide another one of these into a 70s arctic cat to ride around my yard this winter.
9hp Beach Cruiser?! You are a madman!.. I would have liked to see that thing peel out
Nice job Douglas..10 out of 10
Love these videos
Thanks bud!
right???
Hey man I just wanted to say Ive been watching your videos for awhile now and you gave me the confidence to begin working on my own cars. A couple months ago I changed spark plugs for the first time on my XJ. A week ago a starter on a WJ. I just wanted you to know if nothing else you have made a difference to me. Thank you.
That is so awesome bud. Congrats on getting in there and getting your hands dirty. I love hearing that some of the stuff I put out there helps folks. I really appreciate this comment. My channel is extremely small, so hearing someone was helped off a video definitely helps me make more. Keep up the good work bud! Jeep on!
Good stuff! I miss the longer form videos.

Makita makes a set of 1/4dr impact sockets SAE & MM both$14 and there great. I'm currently doing a similar project reviving 2 Honda GX160 white and red ones and a Briggs 209cc I think. Got them free on the side of the road non running got them all going the parts they needed I used a box a Predator 212cc parts a coworker gave me. The Briggs is my Frankenstein engine with parts from at least 4 different engines but it's a runner! No clue what to use any of them for but they will all run lol and free is a great price!
20:30 - holy crap, it’s ethanol dust. You’ve never seen that sh-t??
First in
Record time, too!
I got lucky! I really appreciate your videos. You helped me a lot with my XJ.
