I've been looking at geting a machine like this will be using it to dig holes and some other stuff how do you like it?

For small jobs the 600 series Avants are near perfect, good balance of weight and power.
Using the multi function drive unit as a auger driver works best in a sandy soil, if there's big rocks in the ground then the drillbit just spins ontop or gets stuck on the side of the rock. But little help with a metal spiky thing plus some shovel action and you can still get lots of holes done in a day.
