There's time and place for every feeling - be it calm, mellow, melancholic, or excited, energised, even agitated - sometimes it is actually hard to find a clear line between their overlapping territories. Even though I naturally gravitate towards the calmer, quieter side of things I found that it is this periodical switching from one to another, this constant movement there and back that makes things feel alive for me. Like two poles of a battery, like the up and down movement of pistons that makes an engine work. Regardless of where I am on this spectrum at any given moment I feel the concentration component really makes the difference. When I'm all over the place, buffeted around by external distractions, I can't go on for very long. But even the most physically demanding activity requiring a sharp focus blurring everything happening in the background - that's where I tend to thrive. Even chopping wood and washing dishes can feel like a meditation. I got myself... ekhem, I mean, Santa brought me a really special gift this Christmas. A mechanical, 3D model of an old-school car made of plywood, that you have to assemble yourself from scratch, down to its tiniest cog, steering mechanism and a rubber band powered engine. Designed by an Ukrainian 2014 startup based in Kyiv, that fortunately have their dealer just around the corner (there is one in Bulgaria as well). A true childhood dream come true! I spent half of the Christmas break assembling it, and it already drives. Oh, the joy! I keep tweaking it all the time - new ideas keep rushing in, plus some finishing touches definitely to come, including painting and adding little bits and bobs here and there :) Thanks so much for all the local tips! Can't wait to visit Dryanovo and see all these beautiful places around - ECO path Bozhentsi definitely to be walked 😊 Only 4 months to go! All the best!
yeah, emotional intelligence is everything ) living through every emotion is important. cool that Santa spoils you a bit)) so are you planning to visit Bulgaria in spring? if we're around and you come to Dryanovo make sure to let me know, we could have a walk together.
