Eh…I agree that we should have retained Raymond…but Raymond did not build DBU. He took over a DBU that was already built and retained it by continuing to bring in talent at the highest clip possible. No disrespect to him, this is just the truth. I love the guy
@@tygerfinch That’s why Raymond is called The Godfather of DBU, he also popularized DBU. Raymond brought DBU to the mainstream.
@@KING_NOLAI like Raymond a lot. He’s a tiger. Never should have been allowed to leave. But he did not create/build DBU. Nick saban had a TON to do with that and so did Ron Cooper. Raymond maintained the culture and brought amazing recruits yes. Begin DBU he did not.

I know this is late. But if anyone had listened to the young man father speak on another podcast as I did. Where his son was going was so obvious imo. The father stated that he knew where his son was going for 2 weeks. Playing relevant games on a weekly basis said it all. And a chance to win a Natty.

5 star number 1 safety in America. On3 has him #10 overall.
Listed as an ATH for position but ranked #1 linebacker on 24/7 sports. (Currently a DB in HS hence the safety tag, but projected LB long term according to his bio on 24/7.
