Herring Gulls, bloody noisy and ever hungry. Jackdaws, bloody noisy and ever hungry - but very very sneaky opportunists. I admire both but prefer Jackdaws. Having said that I don't put out my fat balls (oo'er Vicar) in summer because of the families of Jackdaws that start craaaacking on at first light (04.30) knocking seven bells out of the feeder.
