Theodore Tugboat is a great Canadian kids' TV series! It's like Tugs and Thomas & Friends. This episode shows that it's always best to have help from others with complicated tasks.
@@nathanielcruz6675 That shows one thing: Producing multiple seasons for Theodore Tugboat was much more successful than the plans of a second season for Tugs.
7:19 "Of course, if I was made of metal, I could look forward to rusting!" LOL!!! That's the spirit, Rowie! I think you just out-depressed the internet.
1:57 Pre-filmed footage from "Theodore and the Queen" and "Theodore and the Welcome". 3:15 "Ouch!" 😳 "Oh, sorry, Hank." 😕 8:50 "Achoo!" 🤧 13:59 "HELP!!!" 🤣 One of my favorite episodes from my childhood, despite Theodore's attitude towards Hank and R. Boat's mopey pessimism.
there are no likes or dislikes and that honestly fits my opinion with this show, its not good or bad, just ok, but for some reason I still watch this show for no real reason
It seems odd that the tugboats only have one tow rope on them! The grain ship at 8:39 looks really out of scale! I think Theodore and Hank would enjoy meeting Hercules from TUGS!
I like to think that R. Boat is actually "Our Boat" and he just misunderstood. I could see an old married couple owning a small rowboat. And anytime they referred to him they just said "our boat"
@@yamitay9258 No, I’m not saying it’s bad at all! It’s just that my memories of it are very vague, so it feels like a dream. It’s really nostalgic honestly!
The Stroudley Productions #savethennet Yeah the mouths had their own masks to the face rather than just sticking on the red mouths themselves. Used to throw me off as a kid because I knew they were early eps and yet it made the tugs look older lol. Like the mask lines around the mouth looked like wrinkles from age lol.
I See it! First the ship was tipping over to the side, then a giant human sitting around then standing up. Bit minimal, compared to what happened with the 1953 'Sad Story of Henry'
What if the dispatcher is just how the tugs see the Harbourmaster inside his office? I mean we never see him in the stories themselves after all, what do you think?
This is actually my least favorite episode in the series I just hated how Theodore treated Hank in this episode, and I would have thought after Petra spoke to Theodore he would have listened and learned his lesson, but he didn't. This is the episode that just makes me cringe just to think of it I can't stand it. Whenever I rewatch the series I skip this episode completely.
Tbh, this was during the earlier seasons of the show where Theodore, while still friendly and well-meaning, had a bit of attitude and sometimes acting impulsive and fussy. I don't think he was being deliberately rude to his best friend Hank.
Remember kids, this episode has the little picky pest (R. Boat) so you know it's one of Yami tay's least favorites Edit: made this joke because of a commentary Yami Tay did for this episode. Oh don't worry, this isn't the last we'll be seeing of R. Boat. Trust me, the pest will return.
I turned this show on when I my little daughter was feeling nervous one day, and the harbor master's voice made her feel better.

Yes It is
But unlike Tugs, this show lasted between 1993 - 2001. A little bit longer than Animaniacs.

Almost as bad as boomer
You can see a massive goof from 4:27 to 4:29. There’s a crew member sitting down who stands to get up in the background.
whoah
I love the fact that r. boat is a modified lego row boat
I still can't get over R. Boat being just a lego boat with googol eye, lol
Still got to give them credit tho he's a great character lol
What- i never noticed that
Oh i think they just modified that lego piece into a rowboat with eyes
Any character in this show: haha me have detail
R boat: i am *LEGO*
4:28 lol I just noticed the stage person at the right side of the screen. Oops.
I meant to put that in the description actually to see how many of you guys would notice it XD
One of the cameramen.
Oh my. It happens so quickly, but I did see the arm.
I noticed
Took me until now to see that 😂
I wouldn’t blame Theodore for his rope breaking, really more of a maintenance issue than a personal issue.
A great show. Obviously heavily inspired by the earlier British series TUGS. Robert Cardona even directed some of the episodes!
4:28 A crew member could be seen on the right-hand side! (gasps)!
1:57 Pre-filmed footage from "Theodore and the Queen" and "Theodore and the Welcome".
3:15 "Ouch!" 😳
"Oh, sorry, Hank." 😕
8:50 "Achoo!" 🤧
13:59 "HELP!!!" 🤣
One of my favorite episodes from my childhood, despite Theodore's attitude towards Hank and R. Boat's mopey pessimism.
Im 21 now i watched this as a kid its insane how i remember it as talking boat with eyes and found it 😂
They said the Titanic had too many lifeboats and look where it landed them.
They didn't have enough time to get everyone evacuated
its weird watching this in such good quality.
At 4:27 on the right of the screen, is a crew member, you can actually see him get up just before the scene ends.
there are no likes or dislikes and that honestly fits my opinion with this show, its not good or bad, just ok, but for some reason I still watch this show for no real reason
5:41 That's a kool ol little rowboat all alone for many days until Therdoe & Hank came along to help it.
It seems odd that the tugboats only have one tow rope on them!
The grain ship at 8:39 looks really out of scale!
I think Theodore and Hank would enjoy meeting Hercules from TUGS!
This reminds me of Percy And The Oil Painting. This is my new favourite episode
anyone notice it says emily's bruised bumper and the rowboat when the first episode was the big oil rig ?
It was paired with Emily's Bruised Bumper on PBS
0:22 you know, there's all the models from the show on display, but this model of the Harbor Master's Office.... I wonder if it's anywhere?
looks like they broke one of Theodore's faces, he has a crack from his nose in some of the scenes
10:10 bluenose T why U does G that sound S familiar?
They’re both named for the real Bluenose, which was a schooner: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluenose
I like to think that R. Boat is actually "Our Boat" and he just misunderstood. I could see an old married couple owning a small rowboat. And anytime they referred to him they just said "our boat"
That's actually a nice bit of lore to add.
That's really sweet
4:21 there's all that space right there why did you even go near that island?
R boat is so relatable
10:58 nice looking shot
I Love R.Boat He's My Favorite Character
I thought this show was a fever dream until very recently.
I assure you, it’s not that bad like so many people make it out to be
@@yamitay9258 No, I’m not saying it’s bad at all! It’s just that my memories of it are very vague, so it feels like a dream. It’s really nostalgic honestly!
You know, there is something called TUGS
cavespider6665 and?
It's a good show but personally I think Theodore Tugboat is better than TUGS but that's just me
It’s odd, Theodore had a different style face thing from here than in later season. It’s odd
The Stroudley Productions #savethennet Yeah the mouths had their own masks to the face rather than just sticking on the red mouths themselves. 4:28 Big error

R boat voice Sounds like Squidward from SpongeBob SquarePants. 8:50
I love Theodore tugboat😊?
4:26 arm in background
That's one of craziest production errors I've ever seen!
I think this episode comes after Bluenose’s intro episode.
R. boat is never satisfied with anything he can be the richest boat alive and he still won't be happy
R. Boat Kind of reminds me of Boomer from TUGS.
- Harbart he literally is lmao
He reminds me of Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh.
Remember titipo and tayo the little bus?
….no
@@yamitay9258 ok
R. Boat is the floating version of Eeyore.
Legit though

Ripoff of tugs?
