- 1990s fashion designer Magnus Walker has become one of the biggest names in the Porsche scene thanks to his incredible collection. Kept in his downtown Los Angeles warehouse, it features some of the rarest Porsches around, from historical limited releases to one-of-a-kind custom builds from Magnus himself. Experts have estimated that the collection is worth as much as $7.5 million.

Thats the value of all his cars in today’s money. As he had mentioned before he bought those cars years ago some 10 some 20 years ago and back then these cars were really cheap. That’s the value of his garage with how they have spiked up in value

What do you think is the best Air-Cooled Porsche? Mine is the 993 because it was the first Porsche I ever saw race in real life, I was in Vancouver back in the early 2000's.
928 GTS, 944/968 & the Cayman GT4 are my favorite car’s Porsche ever made.
The 1975 turbo was probably one of the scariest cars to drive at the time because they hadn’t perfected the handling yet with the engine at the back and it also had crazy power

I’ve known about Magnus Walker and followed his Porsche collection for years and never knew he was a renowned fashion designer lmao

"Fashion Designer" is a little bit of a stretch. Haha. More like a fashion hustler. He got his start by picking up jeans from thrift stores for loose change, adding some touches to them, holes, wear marks, ect. Then he would go to where the hair band guys hung out in Hollywood and sell them to them suckers for hundreds. That led to him actually creating his own Punk Rock and Goth/Emo style clothing for the Shopping Mall chain store Hot Topic. I may be wrong, but I think he actually owned Hot Topic. That is where he got all his money. He's a straight hustler, though. Came here from England with nothing.

As a fellow English man I have heard about Magnus years ago and his Fantastic Porsche collection he's got all these 911s 928s 944s 924s 968s 914s in all the videos I've scene he never mentions having owned any 912s surely he must have had 1.

I have a lowly 986. It's the model that arguably saved Porsche in the 90's. And although I doubt if I could get $6k for my 2k with 100k, it has more horsepower and or can outperform half of these. But I'd visit were his garage a museum!

john probst I bought as a project a common issue on 928s is the sunroof sinks into the body and over 4 years untold gallons of water made there way into that car

With a collection worth 7.5 million I was hoping to see a gt3 Evo 2, 911 rs, 1968 911, any other homologation special 911, or any factory 911 race car..........nope.... Just his builds that look kinda period correct with a little cheese......

@Christopher Palmer I have my Porsche insured as a classic and it's almost the same as insuring it as a regular car on my policy. There was really no savings.
His cars are insured as a fleet so it shouldn't be that expensive. Also, some of his cars get barely driven
