Magneto is such a badass in this story.
No Ethan, you're wrong. Hulk is not invulnerable, Wolverine himself said it. It isn't that you can't hurt the hulk, he just heals so fast you don't notice he was hurt.
In regular continuity the hulk has been blown up many times, sometimes to the bone, and he just regenerates instantly.

No idea if you'll ever read this but I have had a rough couple of years dealing with some stuff in my life, and your show has really helped me get a break from it all and have some fun. I haven't watched your channel in a while and I forgot how hilarious it is and how much it brings the joy of comics back to my life. All that to say, thanks guys and keep up the good work.

I love the sheer horrificness of Marvel Zombies, its stomach churning to think of Spidey eating his family and the horror of it all comes from the fact after they eat they become more human again and suffer. It is a great horror concept, just one that lost its way and would not die but also couldn't keep the plot going. It thought it was a one of mini and got turned into something overly convoluted.

Back Issues is my favorite show. I've watched every episode and most episodes (like Crisis episodes and Batman episodes) I watch over and over. Thanks so much for everything you guys do. I'm just so happy that they mentioned writing off the hot tub. Like, what a throw-back. That was hilarious. Just an amazing episode overall. Better than most Halloween specials I've seen.
In Ultimate FF they actually depict Sentry showing up infected.

This book is stupid, macabre, fucked up, disgusting and oozing with the darkest of gallows humor..... and i absolutely adore it. Its like an Ennis book, but if Ennis was even slightly self aware and able to laugh at his own absurdity
I liked Marvel Zombies, but the sequels took it too far.

Yeah, after the first few issues it got a little convoluted and the suspension of disbelief was stretched a little too thin.

I really liked Spider-Man's progression throughout the entire series.
Fynn the Fox yesssssssss, I love how he is motivated by the guilt of what he has done (like normal Spidey), while the other zombies (especially Hank and Logan) are just assholes

Marvel Zombies, was one of my top favorite stories from Marvel. Thanks, for sharing guys!
Sal and the crew here listed them as heroes you love as jerks. But it was more than that. I am a huge fan of horror movies. I love what if's, I love zombies. It was like the perfect whammy for everyone who grew up loving Spider-Man, Hulk, Daredevil, so forth but wondered what if they were something different.
It turned the traditional heroing on it's head. It gave these heroes an identity outside the norm. I love seeing all these heroes as jerks, it was refreshing. It wasn't like wow, the main Spider-Man I've been following for years is now a jerk. It was a beautiful what if.
It resembled in a way the weirdness, and gore of later horror films, but also had a sort of B-movie charm. It was so much more than just a zombie story, or my beloved characters acting out of order.
It turned everything you expected on its head, and kept me turning the pages.
I had some bloody good fun with this book

I already love this silly comic, but between Tiffany, Silver Surfer, and Rock a Doodle reference....I laughed my ass off.
Damn! This story is definitely going on my "must-read" list.
I look at this story like a Simpsons Tree House Horror episode. The characters can act out of character and the stories can be over the top, because it is non-canonical and the point is just to have fun.
I haven't read Marvel Zombies yet, though I've been looking forward to it for awhile now. The concept reminds me of The Rising (2003) and it's sequel by Brian Keene.
Basically any human or animal that dies is immediately possessed by a demon that can access the memories of it's host; it makes for a few really good psychological moments.
I really enjoyed both books and highly recommend them to anyone looking for more unusual zombie tales.
That doesn't sound like a zombie book. That's just demonic possession at that point. 😑

Something that i like is that you can follow the whoooole story of the zombies after they leave Earth. In some Black Panther comics you see when they ate the skrull homeplanet and in Marvel Zombies 3 you know what happened with the zombies that stayed on Earth.

The Sentry was the first Zombie. Spoilers: The Zombies end up travelling to other universes. Long story short, The Sentry of an alternate universe is infected by the Zombies. Zombie Sentry ends up going through an Interdimensional Portal, and winds up on the Original Zombies' Earth, and causes the infection. It's a time loop.

Not gonna lie, I kinda love this book. Before I got into comics again in a big way, I would go to Barnes and Noble and just pick out a trade to read there and this was one of them. It was just grotesque and different enough that I always enjoyed it. Too bad the rest of the books in the series were such stinkers, even by Marvel Zombie standards.
Oh! I forgot about that Army of Darkness one. That was pretty good.

A detail i really like in another Marvel Zombies story is that Man Thing can't be infected and is one of the last survivors fighting off whoever comes into the everglades

I mean Marvel Zombies is the type of level of comic macabre that I can take, anything higher like the “that one Garth Ennis comic series that shall not be named” I can’t stomach
