    Hi Daniel, thanks for this great content and you always time it so well. I just wanted to let you know that the iron sulpahte from your store worked amazingly turning all the moss in my lawn black and killing it within hours. I left it a week and then used the Steller Bio Boost and Galactic Green and the superb results speak for themselves. I am now waiting for your wetting agent to arrive. I hope this will help with hydrophic areas over the summer. Finding your channel, online store and taking your advice has helped me make informed choices in my garden resulting in a beautiful space that all the family now enjoy. As for the trolls, I always say that every artist should welcome any feedback or comments as it is always better than no feedback. The internet does empower unqualified people to speak on matters they know little about. Just ignore the nonsense as there are a lot of us who greatly appreciate your honesty and wisdom. Keep up the quality work!

    Hi Dan!
    Big fan from the States. You just have to ignore the trolls and not look at it as 'abuse.' Ever heard the phrase, 'there's no such thing as bad publicity?' If they're engaging, good or bad, they're engaging. Treat it all like constructive criticism
    Here's some constructive criticism.
    I too have often wished you had a better camera just because it can be hard to see the detail of some of what you're doing with the grass. You're fun to watch and listen to. The audio is pretty good and that's the most important of the A/V equation but, it would be nice to see some of the finer detail you're pointing out.
    Also, iPhones can really suck with light balance and color. They're doing their best but when you're shooting outside under natural light that's constantly variable, it helps to be able to adjust the settings on the fly with a dedicated camera. Personally, I'm a fan of the Cannons with full CMOS sensors. You can get some help from a video editor on Fiverr for cheap to help punch up your color and lighting and learn the tricks of the trade cheap on there. It's where I learned some neat tricks. Hope that helps and keep up the great content!

    Hey Dan, I use compost from the garden to top dress. Is that a good thing or not. My compost is a collection of fallen leaves and grass cuttings piled up during the year, turned over to another pile for a second year, and then turned once more to a third pile for use the next year - so over 3 years old by the time I end up using it. But how do I know if it's good for the grass or bad?

    • @DanielHibbertLawnExpert

      Prob not great to be honest but who am i to say actually why not? Aslong as its not twiggy who knows?

    • @Linleys
      @Linleys Год назад

      @@DanielHibbertLawnExpert Oh no twigs, very fine and soft. And I sieve it too. I just wondered if it was too acid or alkaline - not that I know what either would do to the grass. :)

    • @jimbo4890
      @jimbo4890 Год назад

      @@Linleys get a soil test so you have a baseline, 6.5 is optimal for most cool season grasses but a point or so is fine and more often the case, you can use strips for this also, if you are nearer neutral (7) and your compost is more on the acid side it would actually be pretty beneficial but the other way and it could cause issues.
