So fun fact - the animations/projections that play in the park play a scene for a couple minutes every few minutes. In this case the one above Candy Kitchen features the candy machine that eventually breaks when an elf flips it to turbo/rabbit mode. Modeled the candy machine after the "candytron" prop that's in the It's Christmas Snoopy show as a little nod to that. There's also a small easter egg for coaster fans who visited a certain legacy CF park in Ohio on the machine :)

I just got back from CGA Winterfest just now! Went to the second opening day. Amazing time. Did the smores, had a couple of adult drinks, lots of rides! Drop tower, Flight Deck, and especially Rail Blazer!!. Food lines were insane! So didn't get to try much food except the hot chocolate. I will be posting my Vlog tomorrow somtime. Great time! So worth it.
Just went to this tonight. Gotta say that was a lot of lights, loved the colors, overall pretty fun. The bad side of it though, is as an amusement park, they seem to be cutting serious corners, the biggest of which is having only one ride operator on some rides doing every job making turn around times for rides take considerably more time than the ride itself takes. But I did appreciate the Winterfest event as I went on very few rides.

Last year's Opening Night felt dead compared to this year's. The line of cars trying to get into the parking lot southbound on GA Pkwy was just about to the freeway. This was at about 4:10, or so.
That sandwich looked delicious 😋 Nice lit up at night, haven’t been there in years. Have you considered a wool coat or down? They are really WARM. That hoody doesn’t look too warm. I wear wool sweaters a lot. Down jackets r really warm too! It’s a great investment 😊
Was the Orbit in operation? Did you see it? Also, yeah, I think it’s either Tiki Twirl or Orbit that will be removed next. RIP. I have doubts about Orbits operations because it’s often times found closed, at least for my experience. Even though they recently received a major upgrade and modernization.

I wonder what would happen if Orbit got relocated to somewhere like Six Flags Discover Kingdom or something. it’s sad how they don’t make these rides anymore, but I think there’s potential we could bring it back. If it ever does happen, I can’t wait to see a Grizzly expansion.
