@2:52 the Bf109D has a mio upgrade available. Are you sure it is refitting? the garage door ouroboros symbol is dulled out. Doesn't it have to be green to symbolize refitting? One thing that needs an improvement is the speed of the drag and drop scroll for moving things up or down the production chain. Once you get enough things to have to drag and drop new production chains like this, it zips way to fast to control where you want to drop the new production. I wish they would slooooooow that down so you could do the drag and drop in one go, rather than have to drag up/down a couple of spots, drop it, scroll manually, then do another drag/drop rinse and repeat. so frustrating!
Sorry, to clarify: the Bf 109 Ds are the last production series model, the blueprints didn't get updated anymore with the latest MIO innovations. They'll be phased out of frontline duty soon, and moved to other Reichspakt states as materiel support. The refits only happen when there are planes moving out of the deployed wings, otherwise it's a regular production line. And yes, production lines can be chaotic (although if you look at really early versions of the game, we've come a long way), and I do want to have things in a certain order generally, so I have to put up with it :)
Yes, the Suez canal has been retaken from Egypt, but they blew it up. Still going a year to repair it. What I can do, however, is to block the Cape, have goods from the Indian Ocean disembark in Arabia, and transport them by land through the United states of Austria-Hungary. There's a risk of a renewed conflict, and the lines would be somewhat threatened by the Russians, but it's an alternative until the canal is repaired
I think Romania and Serbia are independent because the mod has some scripted peace deals for realism, the Bulgarians were already overstretched after the First World War. Therefore they wouldn’t be able to annex / occupy Romania, Serbia and Greece.
@@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry to be fair, the Serbs and the Romanians have just lost their big revanchist war. There's only so much revanchism you can fit in a nation
Chancellor, I see that your measures to expand the size of our alliance have been successful; in fact, it have given us almost complete control of Africa. However, the fact that the United States has fallen into the hands of the syndicalist scum puts us in a very dangerous position. Therefore, I propose that, in preparation for the coming war, we focus on the weaker countries within the enemy alliances: Norway and Finland. If, as soon as the first shots are fired, we launch amphibious operations in both nations, we could seize their main urban centers, establish governments aligned with us, and prevent them from mobilizing their reservists. This would gain us two allies with most of their forces intact, incur in minimal casualties, and secure our Scandinavian ally. That front is secondary to our interests; if we achieve those victories quickly, the forces stationed there could return shortly after the start of the next Weltkrieg, allowing us to concentrate on the more critical fronts: France and Russia.
The primary focus of the armed forces in Europe is going to be to secure the Reich's borders. Heeresgruppe Nord will have some experienced and powerful special forces divisions available for a push through southern Norway, and the supply stashes we've built in the Swedish wilderness should allow further offensive operations there. However, any further deployment of troops will be contingent on the outcome of the initial border clashes, and naval operations in the Baltic will have to wait for the 2. Schlachtgeschwader to become operational and take over the North Sea theatre. That said, I completely agree that securing Scandinavia will be a first strategic goal.
@@StoriesandStrategieswithTerryChancellor!. I hate to say it, but sending troops to Ethiopia was a big mistake. Of course, firstly, the Ethiopians refused some support, probably because they also buy weapons from Russia or the International in my theory, and secondly, it must be abandoned immediately due to the fact that, Secondly, These cavalry detachments do not have combat equipment, and secondly, and most importantly, the entire Kausaki front should also be strengthened. The Russians were gathering armored forces on the border with Azerbaijan. However, sending cavalry troops alone will not be sufficient for the effective defense of Azerbaijan. Moreover, at least two German missions should be sent to Georgia itself to secure Georgia as well. The key issue is that these troops in the Caucasus could later occupy Novorossyisk and reach the Taman Peninsula, which borders the Ukrainian Crimea. Objective? making the Ottomans enter Ukraine and support German troops. I'm not sure about this idea, but without a doubt, shading Russia from caucasus should be the first target of any offensive against Russia looking at their border. It would secure Azerbaijani oil, but also lead to the complete security of Ukraine. But this can only be discussed if you will sent enough to eastern Ukraine soldiers. But these plans can wait to 1941 or later.

The cavalry detachment were a "showing of the flag" at best. The idea was to operate medium bomber wings against enemy positions, which has been very successful in Egypt, but unfortunately, the Ethiopian promises of airfields, fuel and other related infrastructure were vastly exaggerated. In the end, the bombers were grounded in Djibouti, and alone, the cavalry forces weren't able to make a difference. The Azerbaijani front will be strengthened. It is doubtful that the Russians can break through there easily, but the European lines are our first priority. Once the situation there is clear and we know that we can hold, additional forces might be available - until then, we'll try to supply some newly trained divisions to further strengthen the lines.
@@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry Yes... But I really suggest taking Russia first policy as during the First World War because France first policy failed in 1914 but the Russia allowed itself to be defeated in the three years later. But here Russia is not even very much stronger in military terms than Tsarist Russia because after losing their western lands they lost almost all their industry. Also, the fact that we already have Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic States means that Russia would not be so difficult to defeat. For a note,Operation Barbarossa required reaching Moscow from 1,200 kilometers from the German-Soviet border in Poland. while from Belarus Russian border to Moscow there is only five hundred, so much more than half as much. The campaign in Russia could even end in 1942. I mean, it all depends. Because an equally big problem is... that You can't risk that the red CSA will help France. But for now, CSA will be busy with Canada and New England, which are not as weak as they seem. *Ps, 1200 kilometers it's 745 miles and 700 kilometers it's 435 miles.
I have, but the air base infrastructure in Ethiopia isn't sufficient to actually station a wing there. I have He 111s in Djibouti, but they can't join. This was honestly the only way the at this point hopelessly outclassed cavalry would have made a difference. From the perspective of game mechanics, you need at least 10 levels of airbase combined to deploy a single wing.
Interesting thing, Krystyna Skarbek from Poland and Elyas Bazna from the Ottomans and Albanians were real. Krystyna Skarbek was probably the prototype for Janes Bond's first girlfriend because she knew Ian Fleming, knew each other, and from what I know, they probably even had a short affair. Generally, she was supposed to inform British intelligence about Germany's plans to attack the USSR. But Stalin, of course, did not believe the British revelations. Also Basna was very interesting, He worked at the British embassy in Ankara and informed the Germans in Ankara, where Hans Von Papen was the ambassador, that the Western Allies would attack Normandy, but the Germans did not believe it. Although many years later it turned out that the money they gave him was counterfeit Sterling, so he lost the fortune he gained from cooperation with the Germans.
