That was a dramatic transformation. Well done. He looks so much more comfortable.
He´s such a gorgeous little guy, too!
Poor little sweetheart. Thank goodness he was rescued.
You guys are heroes! He looks so good now!
And it's no joke that leopard geckos are a commitment... I've had mine for 17 years!
What an amazing story, and what a gentle and kind boy Pascal is! Every rescue story makes me more and more certain that I'm making the right decision quitting my job as a vet tech to apply to vet school so that I can specialise in exotics. Hopefully, in the future, I'll be able to set up a small reptile sanctuary as well. ❤
What a wonderful mission! Wishing you success in your noble endeavors! 🦎 ❤️
How exciting! Vet school is challenging, but you've got my support! You're going to rock this! - Jessi
I hope you learn a lot about parrots-not too many good avian vets out there.
I wish you good luck on your goals!
You'll fail
I love you guys and all the effort you put in for the voiceless beings. The honesty and passion really comes across the screen. You are really an inspiration for me to rescue animals when I'm older. My cockatiel in the pfp picture says high to you all. That was him/her when I was still handfeeding him. He loves to fly to my shoulder/head whenever he sees me, and I would do anything for him.
Pascal is adorable and I’m so happy he was able to recover!! ❤️ me and bagel (my leopard gecko) are cheering for him!!
Thanks Abbie and Bagel! ❤
Bagel, lol. Awesome name. 😊
Your work is more than important, it's inspiring.
Much love from Brazil!
Wow my heart was in my throat for poor Leo! Thank you for doing so much for little creatures like this that need your help! I am so happy that he’s got a forever home!
As sad as his condition was in the beginning, the healing process was so inspiring to watch! Thank you for being there for these little creatures 🥰
I'm not even a reptile guy (I mean I love all animals but reptiles are not for me personally), but this is why I love this channel.
That gecko must love the shizz out of you Jess and all the people who help you.
Haha, well the little buddy wasn't a fan of the ointment at first but he's much happier with us now that we're not messing with his eyes and toes all the time.
@@animalwondersmontana Oh I bet, good job! Respect to you.
Yay Taylor!! May Pascal make the best recovery he can
Poor baby, looked downright zombified when you picked him up. Great work. I also very much appreciate that you folks don't just take in every animal that you get, knowing your limitations is so important. Taylor to the rescue!
I am so glad that little guy is doing so well, we know it's been a rough time for your animals and we appreciate you sharing their progress with us. Glad Taylor will give him plenty of love💚
What a strong little dude! He looked so poorly in the before shots. He clearly has a fighting spirit. So glad he was able to make it to you guys before it was too late.
i saw this lil guy on instagram-- i'm so thankful for what you did for him
I love the fact that the video sponsor list has to be in paragraph form rather than a list! Keep up the amazing work Jessie!
Lol, it was getting a bit out of control!
I’m in Vet Tech school so I love when you do videos like this! Any rescue animal would be lucky to have you on their team!
Awww poor little mite.
he looks like he is such a good little chap
Well done you, the vet and the person that found him.
And Taylor of course for giving him the loving home Pascal deserves!
Could we get an update sometime from Taylor, please? That would be so cool!
What an awesome transformation! Leopard geckos are such sweet babies!
As someone with a leopard gecko I'm shocked that he didn't lose his tail from the heat and recovery process. He looks AMAZING considering the rough shape he was in before. You all do great work
Thank-you! I'm so glad that Pascal is recovering from his ordeal. And I really needed a feel good story. Keep up the fabulous work!
pascal is such a good little boy. it was amazing to see his eyes for the first time. shouts outs to taylor
I’m so thankful for rehabbers like you. Poor little fella.
Maybe I'm just feeling extra emotional tonight, but I was fighting back tears during the whole "before" bit. I almost had to turn the video off, because I couldn't take seeing him suffering. So I'm doubly glad that he's recovering, AND that he's going home with one of your teammates! ❤️
I feel so sorry for the poor guy. It was plain to see that he was close to death. But, when he started to drink, you could tell he realized he had a chance. He started to fight for his life. I'm glad he's doing well, and I hope to hear more about his recovery. You saved his life.
Pascal was certainly under pressure when you found him. In all probability, he was a wager you were bound to lose. Pascal's identity is no longer in doubt. Thanks!
So happy to see he was found and rescued by the right people we just lost ours after 23 years they are sweet sweet little lizards He has a great life ahead of him
I was crying! Poor baby! Thank you for giving him the care he so desperately needed ❤
He’s such a dear little mite . Thank you for bringing him back to life ❤️
Such a dramatic transformation!! I'm so happy he was rescued by you and adopted by an employee from animal wonders. I have faith that his eyes will fully recover now that he's properly cared for 🥺
Three cheers for Jessi, Dr. Card, and Taylor! What an amazing team you are that you took him in, helped him heal, and gave him a forever home. :)
Thank you so much for your care in rescuing this beautiful little guy.
I am so grateful for what you all do.
Great video! You’ve leveled up your editing skills. 😁 I’m so glad Pascal made his way to Animal Wonders! His transformation is just amazing.
Thank you 😊 We're so glad he was found!
Years ago my Mom called me and told me she had an iguana under a bucket in her back yard. (Florida so not crazy right?) Well it turned out to be a very angry Savannah Monitor lol. So glad you saved this little one. My Leopard Gecko is the light of my life. I call her my Puppy Lizard.
Poor little guy. He was in rough shape. He seems much better now. Thank you for caring for him. I'm happy someone found him too. Praise the Lord :)
Broke atm, definitely going to donate a few bucks this time tomorrow. You guys do great work.
25$
God bless you for what you do.
Oh that poor thing!! I am so glad he was found!
I can’t imagine how much pain poor pascal was in, you guys are so amazing for saving him
Poor sweet baby was looking so hard done by, so glad he found you and looking so much healthier and happier!
this poor little guy... this was hard to watch, but the transformation was amazing!
It was a rough one for sure. But seeing the before just made the after so much better.
babey!! what a hardy pal! and so visibly relieved to have encountered such competent help!
What an incredible turnaround! I'm always amazed by just how much abuse the body can recover from if given the chance. Hats off to Pascal for his fighting spirit!
I couldn't even imagine my lil guy being outside! Glad u were able to help him! He looks so much happier :)
im so happy yall were able to help the little guy out, he looked so miserable at first but now he's looking so good!
Sending love from New Zealand
This video was so inspiring! Glad to be able to own a leopard gecko myself, and she’s already 9 1/2 years old! Time flies
Congrats, Taylor, on the adoption of such a fabulous creature!! Can't wait to get updates from you!
Jessi, have you considered doing a livestream with Taylor? Maybe answering questions about the last year and a half, and what the best memories are for everyone at AWM?
thank god you got him out of all the people who couldve!
You’re such a great person for takin this gecko in
You and people like you are actual living saints.
I find myself always looking over at my leopard gecko Gumby and thinking "man, he would never make it in the wild he's way too pampered" so I could NEVER imagine just letting a leo go into a non-native environment. They're tough little geckos though, and I'm SO glad y'all could help this little guy out. He's absolutely gorgeous with all that gunk and stuck shed off❤
Such an amazing job you’ve done with this baby and all the others you have saved. What a difference in Leo/pascal, How exciting that Taylor is going to be his forever home, he’s been through so much with you guys it’s wonderful he gets to stay close by!
I love this story
I'm so happy Pascal is going to make it! I hope we get to hear about them again soon!
Poor thing looked super awful and most likely in lots of pain 🥺
I'm so glad that he's making a steady recovery and that he's looking much better with an infinitely healthier future
Hurrah for Pascal! Thanks so much for sharing his journey.
Pascal is an absolutely perfect name for the little liz :)
Thank you for saving him! Leopard geckos are the best 🥰
Wow! What a transformation! I’ve seen a lot of crappy RUclipsrs on here that make fake content based around helping animals, but I’m really glad you aren’t one of them. Keep up the good work!
Good grief, that poor little Leo! :o My roommate has a leopard gecko and I am loving helping care for her. I am so glad this little guy got help!!
Wow, I never seen someone release a leopard gecko. Glad that you found him
Aww poor baby. I'm so glad he recovered.
Oh no! Poor little guy! I'm so glad they reached out to you.
Your my favourite RUclipsr . I ❤️ your vids!
You are so inspiring.
Tremendous video, got me tearing.
You did so well for this baby I’m so glad that he’s in a better home and not suffering you did such a wonderful job he’s seems a lot more happier :)
so awesome.
dr. card is wonderful.
I feel sometimes pets may be too available in some chain stores.
Great video
I was super early just was too busy watching the vid
I forgot about this channel, nice to randomly stumble upon it around a year later!
Great job saving him! I just got my first pair of leopard geckos today at a reptile show. They live in a nice big 40 gallon breeder.
the way i actually started crying at 7:28
I’m so happy he is feeling better
So glad he was found; and healed.
those before images were tough to look at, it's amazing you were able to get him healthy
Thank goodness you were able to help this sweet, sick little guy. I hope the karma returns to you double!
This video is satisfying on every possible level.
aww that poor little dude
I have a rescue gecko as well. Someone didn't want him anymore and game me his whole enclosure and him for free. He was very skinny when I got him, wasnt eating and had a bit of stuck shed. His names also pascal! He's doing so much better now and is eating and everything.
Poor baby, so happy he found you!
poor little dude. So glad you could help!!
What a beautiful fella
Holy cow that is so bad I’m glad you saved him
Love your work! That was quite a transformation as well!
This is Amazing to watch! Thank you so much for your Kindness to Nature! Lets thank the Donors too! xxox
Poor baby…so lucky to be rescued.
I am so glad that he was found and rescued in time. I hope that the owners did not release him on purpose in the wild. He looks so much more healthy than when he was first found. Hopefully he regains his eyesight soon
How important is sight to Leopard Geckos? Where does it rank next to hearing/smell/etc?
In the wild it's ranked pretty highly, they can actually see color even in the dark and it's how they hunt/avoid predators. That being said, in an enclosure Pascal can live fairly normally without it. Might need help hunting for if they use something fast like crickets, but leopard geckos have a great sense of hearing so they'll be fine with slower prey.
Wow!! What an amazing video! I had very little knowledge on leopard geckos and you have really opened my eyes and heart up to these little creatures. Thank you for being an absolute hero to these animals! Thank you for being one of the most amazing humans!! 🙏💕
Such a great and educational video! You guys did such a great job taking care of him- you can even see his tail get bigger from all the good food! ❤️
Hi Pascal!
Awwww
Little guy
Hang in there bud!
So wonderful what you are doing! I adore geckos, absolutely adore them! Pascal is gorgeous and so sweet, thank goodness he was found! 💝
Good thing my former careers prepared me for eating whilst watching this.
What a trooper!
amazing!! leo was my leopard geckos name too haha, same morph and everything, it made me happy to see him recover so well
three weeks without eating ? that's quite a long time. I'd guess being cold blooded helps but still, it looks like a lot of time for such a small creature.
good job for caring for him, that's an impressive recovery
He likely went far longer than a few weeks without eating. Leopard geckos store fat in their tail so they can survive months without food. His tail is so thin and he couldn't see or hear to be able to catch anything before he came to us. I'm actually surprised he wasn't thinner than he was.
This was amazing! You guys are so wonderful!!!
Such an inspiring video. One of my favourites ❤️
I wonder if his eyes are a bit photosensitive after being crusted shut for so long. He kind of looks like he's squinting in the light.
