I'm excited to use your preschool curriculum with my littlest two this summer!

Our kindergarten plans are very similar! We just finished Winnie the Pooh and both loved it. We also plan to read Charlotte’s Web this summer. I’ve never heard of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle but it sounds great! We’ve been reading through A Child’s Book of Poems and The Jesus Storybook Bible and my kids love both 😄 Started 100 Reading Lessons a bit too early I think (she was 4 but now 5) and we’ll try that again for kindergarten. Thank you for sharing!

Oh! Mouse and the motorcycle was my hubby’s first read aloud he did with the kids! - it was from his book collection from his childhood! I love when you recommend books - it’s so helpful when we’re looking for our next read!
Your plan sounds great! I hope the transition goes well to new place and all that’s up in the air for fall semester

We take the summer off but they do still read and I do a couple of read alouds. We also participate in our library's summer reading program and whatever is involved with that. Just thought I'd mention that Dover has a coloring book that goes along with that poetry book, might be a fun addition. And, we just finished a short chapter book that my 4, almost 5, year old really enjoyed-The Adventures of Sir Lancelot the Great by Gerald Morris, a funny intro to knights and all that goes with that.

I only have this week and next week left before summer break with my 2 big kids. My oldest will probably have to do a bit of math into the summer. I'm thinking about doing the 100 lessons book with my 5 year old this summer. I will be doing kindergarten with her next school year.

Oooo! I should read Charlotte’s Web this summer to my little guy! Great idea. ♥️ Nice plans, Chantel. Always so interesting! Audio for Pooh is included with Audible, FYI.

Oh, Charlotte's Web, that is such a wonderful classic!
I am currently reading Alone by Megan E. Freeman and I am really enjoying it! Thanks for making that recommendation!

I have never heard of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle but now I feel like I need to find those books soon! My kids are finishing up kindergarten and first grade, and I'm not sure how much we'll do over the summer other than reading and a Bible curriculum I found that's 13 weeks long (about the same length as our summer break). I believe it's actually designed for Sunday School or youth group, but I'm planning to expand it out to 3 or 4 days a week for each lesson. It's part of a series called "Kids Travel Guide to..." and we're doing the Beatitudes.

Oh, I hope you enjoy Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle as much as we do!
      That Bible curriculum sounds fun!

For my 3 year old I don't have "plans" for the summer other than her hearing any read alouds we do as a family and playing. However, with 3 older siblings who are homeschooled she is pretty incessant that she be allowed to do "school" so in August when we start up our Autumn term I was planning on using your story filled preschool, some Usborne wipe clean books, and The Big green "Handwriting without Tears" book that has the kids connecting stars to each other and other fun motor skills. But I don't care if she decides to quit all that....I am more of the mind later is better. If ahe does anything it will be because she insists on it.

Haha, yeah, I find that with the three-year-old too, she just wants to be in there because everyone else is doing something.
