Not a fan of the design but always good to see more modern piedforts. They have such a lovely heft to them.
Beautiful coin! I always liked the story of Cnut - especially that over a thousand years we contrived to get it completely the wrong way round!!! LOL
Big Lorry it’s a cool coin among a few less than exciting
Aye, he does have a "broad" range of interests, eh?
That design is pretty cool. You'll get a kick out of this,Canute's father's name was King Forkbeard, lol
There is actually a hammered silver King Canute penny, dates 1016-1035
That is a lovely looking coin. Possibly confused Canute with Moses.. he was a dab-hand with water.
Very nice design. *:-)*
I have the piedfort version, number 527. it's great to see it on this channel. I love the clean design of this coin.
I had to send the one I ordered back, big spot on the cheek, by then they had sold out and couldn't get another.
Really like the style of this coin. Simple but very clean. Hope it does well for you
I like the look of this coin :) .. have one regular proof
Love the history coin seems just ok thanks for sharing
👍👍👍
What is the difference between peidfort and proof?
mickey summers piedfort is double thickness and proof coins have reflective field and struck 6 times you can get piedfort proofs
Knud den store, -på dansk 🤣❤🇩🇰💪
Is this where the term "nut" comes from? Because what kind of nut would try to invade Britain :D
Please tell us, do you own all of these coins in all of your videos or do people send you some of their coins since you have NGC membership for grading and sending back to them slabbed? What you say in many of your videos seems to indicate that you are providing such a "middle-man" service for many of these coins. Thank you.
Car1Sagan people send him coins to get graded
That is neat. How is it done? Is there a website somewhere describing the process and agreement?
Visit The Silver Forum, the link is in the description.
I so read the title wrong so so wrong
Really nice looking coin! Thank you for sharing it!!
There’s no cure for being a cnut...
