So, at that time, the beats and melody knew that they had to wait at least 4-5 years before they could meet again as a whole group. Thank you so much for this reaction. SOMEDAY is written by our emotional guy, Hyunsik with the 3 rappers who write their own rap parts. This is already an emotional song..but what made the performance really sad and had the members teary eyed was the fact that Eunkwang revealed here in the concert that he already received the mail/calling of enlistment and had to go just a few days after this. So everyone was sad..the members were surprised too and didn't expect it to be so soon. Eunkwang was the 1st one to enlist, to be followed by Minhyuk a few weeks after then Changsub. They felt so sad singing this song coz they knew it would take some years before they would be complete again, it will take time to see Melody again..and there's this uncertainty of their fate and career after enlistment..if fans would be willing to wait and what would happen to their group after. They are at the peak of their career when they enlisted one by one..except Peniel who is an American citizen. And they vowed never to leave Peniel alone. So they planned to enlist with hyung line first in 2018 then when they were discharged, they reunited with Peniel then maknae line enlisted. That's how they planned everything so that they would all be through with enlistment for their 10th anniversary concert in 2022. But what made this video sadder for us Melodies is the fact that this is their last concert with Ilhoon. Coz after this were the enlistments, then the charges, then he was out of the group. By the time they were all discharged and about to celebrate their 10th year..Ilhoon's not with them anymore. And all these happened when they were in elistment..they didn't even have each other to comfort or be a support..they're all busy in the military..the hyungs were having a difficult time in Kingdom and Covid was also an issue. These were their darkest times and they really went through a lot with Eunkwang as a leader, not wanting to let Ilhoon go..but as an Executive director of Cube, also had to make a decision that's good for everyone. Anyway, this happened some years ago but it still hurt..this part. This concert series is I believe just their performances. their conversations and funny stuff they did were already deleted here.
I think this song and this performance will always be painful and hopeful to Melodies who know BTOB history (mentioned well by another commenter), but especially for those who lived through all their lows and highs from the beginning. I get teary eyed almost every time I hear this song, and every time I see this performance, and I've only been a Melody since 2021. These are not the last of the members' tears from this concert and you will see how Melody helps them through. I see this concert and the 2022 Be Together concert as bookends. Watching them showed me why there are so many songs explicitly for Melody. And we will get through these current difficulties due to company transitions, too. I'm enjoying rewatching this concert with you.

Thank you for reacting to this song, especially this concert. The experience of being there, whether live or online, was truly heartbreaking-you could hear the audience's cries. The whole concert was so emotional and beautiful; I still remember it vividly, and it still brings me to tears. It marked the beginning of their enlistment, with an uncertain future ahead. Yet, they seemed to have carefully planned their enlistment and not let Peniel be alone, which is why Sungjae became the youngest K-pop idol to enlist. Still, the thought of one of them leaving may have been the unknown fear that made this final OT7 concert so emotional. 😢
