- Links and discount code below. Hi everyone, i though it might be a nice change to share with you what I take with me in my handbag on a daily basis. I dont pack it full of unnecessary things, just essentials.
The bag im using in the video is a gifted leather bag from Minooy, and im delighted to own it. Love your bag Lynn, it is perfect. I have everything in the kitchen sink in mine. Love the idea of the tool in your bag, you just never know when you might need one, like the handle falling of a toilet door you are in while shopping 😂. I will tell you a wee story, I worked in Hoover factory Cambuslang, I was a setter operator and worked on a line that made armatures, if you don’t know what that is, Harv will know, anyway, in my overall pocket I always had a shifting spanner. I had purchased this myself so always took it home with me. One day driving home in a country road I spotted a car that had pulled over. We stopped to see if the driver was ok or maybe needed help,he had run out of petrol. He said he had a tiny drop in a can but it wasn’t enough to get the car to a petrol station. He said that he could pour a little on the carburetor which could get it started and hopefully get him to a garage but he couldn’t loosen the nut as he had no tools in his car, I said, this is your lucky day, it just happens I have the very thing in my overall pocket 😂, few minutes later he was up and running it was so funny, the guy must have thought I was mad. I had to laugh at the plasters 😂I have had some plasters in my toilet bag for oh must be 15 years I always take them with me on holiday just incase😊
And the multi tool 😂 well as you say, you never know. I don’t go that far though lol
I bet mine won’t stick hahaha, I think it takes bottle tops 0ff, and opens cans haha so just in case 🌹❤️🌹🤣

Hi Lynn, what a lovely bag, small but so many compartments. I basically carry around the same as you, but wipes instead of sanitiser. All you need now is a navy bag, and then you are covered. I have similar contents but use wipes instead of liquid sanitiser as you can wipe lots of surfaces and hands too 😊 I dont have a multi-tool but do have a small tape measure I keep all small things in a small make up bag cos I cant stand rooting round my bag for whatever I need at the time 😏

I enjoyed this vlog Lynn, love the bags, your contents are very like mine I don't have the tepe or multitool, I did buy multitools as a stockingfiller for our childen , grandchildren and their partners not had any feed back so not sure if they have used them although they did say they were a good idea x

Oh my word Lynn, you almost have exactly the same things in your handbag as I have in mine, although I’ve stopped carrying sanitizer now and carry a small pack of wet wipes instead. I also have a micro fibre cloth with me for cleaning my glasses 😊😊😊

Hi Lynn. Lovely bag, I would love it but like Jenniferfarrah mentioned I too have a problem with my shoulder and carry the tiniest bag, not leather. More like a purse with crossbody strap. Slim notebook and pen, cards, keys, cash, phone, that’s it. In my pocket I usually have a Onya rucksack. It’s made of recycled plastic bottles these days. It can hold my coat if it gets warm…..some chance. Or shopping. A really good buy 10 years ago, still going strong. X❤

Morning Lynn, what a fabulous handbag. I love North to South handbags rather than east to west. A perfect travel bag as well an everyday bag. That is quite a collection. I am afraid my handbag is far less haha. Not that organised sadly. Possibly a few extras like yourself if I am travelling. Great video Lynn ... really like the cross body bag ... looks like it's well made ... I couldn't help but chuckel but this reminded me of my grandmother when I was a child ... she would sometimes let me look in her handbag and of course she always had something in there for me ! ... now I let my granddaughters go through my handbag ... like the cross body bags as they don't take up so much room ... I worry about knocking something over in the store when I have a large bag.

Morning Lynn, lovely video, as usual. I have all the same stuff in my bag, except your little tool, instead I have a small pair of folding scissors. Also I have a tiny plastic teaspoon as I don’t like stirring my coffee with a wooden stick, I can taste it in the coffee, I know, it sounds weird but we all have some strange ideas I guess. Oh Lynn loved the contents of your beautiful bag, only thing I might add is a packet of sweets or mints but the tape measure always travels with me, think it's because when I used to buy material for dressmaking and it was a remnant you need to measure!! same in my bag . I've got one of those tools cause I know I'll save the day by producing it in an emergency and be hailed a hero😂😂😂. Also at the bottom of my bag are about half dozen sugar packets that I rob from cafes and I don't even take sugar.😂😂❤❤

Love the brown bag that you got first, and I carry just about the same things that you do Lynn, I laughed out loud when you showed the tape measure, I have a white one the same kind as yours in my bag, and the plasters etc. but all my little bits and bobs go in a zip pouch to keep them altogether. I don’t have that multi tool though, but if I saw one you never know😉 been over to look at those bags but cant justify buying one yet . ❤
I’m very lucky to have two I know. My mum always carried one so I think that’s where it came from, it’s been very useful on several occasions though. They are expensive, but when you see the craftsmanship it’s no wonder, maybe you’ll get one as a gift one day 🌹❤️🌹🙏🏻

Hi Lynn, they’re nice handbags, I love a soft leather handbag but I’ve had so many that I’ve bought over the years that have been too heavy, bulky and sagged with all my “stuff” in them I have to carry an inhaler, an angina spray, as well as the usual tissues, glasses, purse, phone, car keys, house keys a foldaway bag, hand sanitiser and a pen.
The new bag looks nice but it’s got too many compartments for me 🫣
I’ve just given 3 similar ones to charity which I’ve only used once or twice. ❤

Hi Lynn Beautiful bag. I keep more or less the same things as you in my bag, but i now carry a couple of aspirin simply because i was out with a friend a couple of months ago and she suffered a small stroke, if i had been carrying aspirins in my bag i could have given her one. But i carry a few now xx❤️❤️❤️

Could you please try to put all of your handbag items into the new bag just to see if thats going to work for you. I dont put perfume or lipstick in my bag but i do always have to have my reading glasses and sunglasses, so they take up quite a bit of space and i always have sanitiser hand wipes in case i eat somewhere where i may use my hands. That cross body bag looks like its got a lot of room inside. 😀
They are all in there Gina, with room to spare, there was nothing I showed that was bulky, all quite small things really so they fit in nicely, and I’ve used it every day since I filmed the video, I love it. I’m not one for changing handbags all the time, so for everyday I have the tan one, and now the black, sorted lol 😂 have a lovely weekend lovely lady ❤️🌹❤️

That bag will be so useful, I’ve been looking for one myself where I don’t need a purse…that seems to fit the bill. My bag mirrors yours although I don’t have that tool ( were you a girl guide? 😂) but I do have Imodium and ibuprofen too and the same as you said everyone asks me if they need something when out as I usually cover every eventuality 😂. Super handbags Lynn. A really good leather bag lasts a lifetime so a good investment. I think the contents of my bag are similar to yours. However, no multi tool there! I shall have to put that right! I always have my sunglasses if not driving in them as wear them on all but the dullest days. They are prescription ones so try to look after them but why do they come in such enormous bulky cases. Just not compatible with handbags unless of the enormous capacity type. I find that if I carry a smallish bag I can, hand on heart, tell my partner that I do not have room to carry his wallet, car keys and specs! My late husband used a “man bag” for years and years but current bloke takes a bit of persuading even though I bought him a rather lovely leather and expensive one! If have a small bag he rams everything in his pockets. Grrr! Looks awful and not very safe! Men! Ha ha! Xx Liz
It is, I love a leather bag. I have a little glasses compartment in the car, so I keep my prescription sunglasses in there so that I never forget them when I’m driving, if I need them I just take them out. Oh my hubby has so many bags, he never uses one in this country, but uses one all the time on holiday. It’s strange how some men don’t like to carry one isn’t it ❤️🌹❤️

O so surprised you didnt mention house keys. The bag looks nice but I prefer one without all the wallety bits. It does make it surprisingly heavy. I carry all i need like ££, cards, plasters etc in my purse. Then there is room for my specs in my new space saving spec holders! - they are a game changer!!
My house key is on with my car key Linda, it’s the wallet bits that I like the most lol. You have it well organised, I wear my specs all the time, so no need to carry them, unless I’m out in the evening and then it’s a different bag that I take ❤️🌹❤️

Hi Lynn,I don’t really understand the people who say they will not watch RUclips channels that advertise products,I don’t always want to watch certain products being reviewed,like E-bikes,Air Fryers,hair dryer,things like that,never going to ride one of those bikes at my age,got a hair dryer,and air fryer,so i simply skip that video,and go on to the next video.I have nearly the same as you in my bag,no trolley key,our carts(trolley) are not chained up,no Paraceetamol,I don’t know what that is,or how to spell it.I also don’t have a multi tool,but I have a sewing kit,and a nail kit with scissors.Funny thing,I saw you had a pick,not a comb,and so do I,people think it’s strange here as they are associated with Afro hair,but I love them,my hair is always permed,as I have very fine,totally straight hair,I have a lot of hair,but because of how straight it is it just hangs,not becoming,so since I was about 14 it’s been permed.❤😊❤

Paracetamol is an over the counter pain killer, useful if anyone has a headache. 🤕 ooo sewing kits a good one, and maybe a safety pin. Yes, I use the pick because it’s smaller than a comb, easier to fit in the bag. I had mine permed when I was younger, she left it on too long, I came out looking like a poodle lol, never did it again. 🌹❤️🌹
