This is the speciality of these nepo/star kids, this movie was announced before covid, and during that time Ranveer Singh was doing big commercial movies and Ranbir had to copy and do the same. They are not going to say this but i bet the director would have been made to take Ranbir Kapoor because he wanted to do these big mass movies. Bollywood is designed in such a way that first it caters for people from inside, whatever is left goes to other artists. I am a huge fan of Ranbir Kapoor and i have nothing against him, but he totally looked like a kid in this role from what i have seen so far. For me personally his demeanour, personality did not suit this role and I will be the happiest if this movie works for him. It gives me very much of Besharam movie vibe although i loved that movie..
