SkyChuter: Six Flags Over Mid America commercial 1978

When Six Flags over Mid America opened for it's 1978 season, the new ride to debut was "Sky Shooter" a 250 foot tall parachute drop ride! it was the tallest ride in the park, and it offered a fantastic view when you reached the top. it was a controlled drop, so it wasn't a fast thrilling ride, but it was exciting for what it was. in 1982 it was dismantled and moved to Six Flags Great Adventure where it still operates as "Parachuters Perch"
