I have visited Ikaria many times. The most festive festivals I have lived there. Good wine, local goat and wonderful music, almost Dionysian. Restaurants are pretty good. Cheese pies and sandwiches have to be careful. The sexta Hristos Rahes has very poor quality, burned. In Armenistis the quality was excellent Very good quality is also on the pedestrian walkway at Evdilos in the shop with the blue door

name of song "tsamourikos". is played in Ikaria island in all "panigyria"(local festivals) but it has many variations. the dance is "ikariotikos"
