Hey Fathima! I think if you pursue finance, its just 3 papers exemption but if accounting u can get up to 6? You need to check this with ACCA.. and thank you for your comment!

What does an ACCA plus CFA can expect in terms of salary on average in UAE with little or no experience ? Please give an estimation
Hi, do you think it's possible to self study for AFM and AAA? And if one should appear for both the papers in one session ?
Its manageable to se study AFM but it would be tough and I woulsnt risk it. AAA, you should attend the classes, its’s a very tough paper.

I started my internship having only finished 9 papers f1-f9. I'm waiting for my AAA result but i'm done basically. That was my last paper 😬 You can find a job even if you finished 9 papers only depending on the company obv

Yes I did! I've been an ACCA for a year now 😊 Honestly just focus on the core topic and keep practicing questions and the topics which are tested the most.
Practicing is key! Don't memorize stuff.

Does it really matter to enroll in a specific institute such as PWC or they all offer the same standard of learning , cuz I’m actually confused whether to go for PWC or Phoenix
Yes, the tutors were a big impact in my ACCA journey. This and Phoenix being a platinum approved learning provider is a big factor in choosing Phoenix.
Hopefully you find the right institute for you. I can't really say much about PWC as I have never taken any classes with them but i'm sure they're also great.

Thanks! i'd suggest doing 2 at once if you can handle that much... Tax is a very huge paper.. PM is a bit hard. FR is def manageable!

Which texts are good to use, Kaplan or BPP?
I'am afraid non of them. Just Use Past exam papers and other resources available at ACCA Website.
Kaplan study text! However, I feel like both are the same.... the textbooks obviously gotta be ACCA approved learning materials soooo.. both are really fine. I'm just used to Kaplan.

Risk Management & Investment appraisal comes A LOT! so def practice a lot of questions on this. 😬 I feel interest rate risk gets tested more than FOREX but obv its safe to practice both.
But don't do nitpicking, always better to cover the whole syllabus. I also read all of AFM technical articles & 3 of those like Basis Risk came up in the exam which is amazing bc the articles are already summarized for you
