Yes please do more video explanations on these books!!! Apparently, where I’m from, music teachers don’t really get into all these detailed practice materials, but they only focus on ABRSM exam pieces and only what’s required there
Gladly Paganiniwannabe!
Thanks dear Joe for your kind and gently teaching 谢谢 恨😘
You're most welcome Carola. Thanks also!
Joy, you are so helpful in explaining difficult passages, scales, etc. I learn so much from you. Wish I lived in Canada to lessons from you. You have focused and practiced a lot to have perfect pitch with intonation. Thank you for teaching online.
Oh, you are so nice Terry! Thank you very much as well :)
Excellent video! Thank you!
You are welcome! Thank you also Tony!
Much appreciated Joy
Thank you also Yacoub!

I was looking for an explanation for this book.
You're most welcome String Nam! Your comment made me very happy :)
Always excellent videos
Thank you kindly Alastair :) It's good to see you here! Happy music making!
Such a complex instrument, I have played guitar for thirty plus years , and been in many bands, I took up violin as a challenge to prove to myself I am a musician, I thought it would be hard but it makes guitar seem like a child’s instrument.
You are right
Excellent video
More videos n Galamian scales and bowings please! This was excellent!
Thanks Grace. I'll try to make a video about it.
the video was helpful! thank you! 😊
Good glass teacher thank you.

You're most welcome Rod! Thanks also :)
Very helpful! Thank you Joy.
You're most welcome Alex! Thank you also :)
Keep up your wonderful work and keep living the dream! As for scales, I prefer the Heifetz or Elizabeth Gilels scale books. But I completely agree with your recommendation to practice scales in a structured and methodical manner. You’re an excellent teacher and a lovely lady!
thankyou joy lee.... greeting from bali island
Thanks a lot for these great videos! :)
Wilmar Alfeche, I agree, Joy is a great violinist, and I am honored to have her as a teacher!

Tank you very much John!
@@JoyLeeViolin I need this galamian scales book pdf please😢
Hi John, have you tried to google for it?
@@JoyLeeViolin yes but not be able to download it.
I'm sorry to hear that John. Unfortunately I can't help you with that, but it might be worth to try and ask for a help at our Facebook Group " Joy Lee Violinist Community" . Good luck!
I have a different Galamian book.
Please do the Galamian 3octave scales next please. Thank you.
Gladly Daniel. Here is a video I already made about three Octave scales including Galamian. ruclips.net/video/dXNTSVgqgJs/видео.html
Where is your viola counter part!!--excellent channel by the way! :-)
Hi Joy. Can you tell me what kind of drone you use and where we can buy it.
Dear Binah, it is Boss - Doctor Beat 90 and most music stores carry them. Happy violin playing!
Joy, did you create a video on how to practice beginning and intermediate Scales using Schradieck? If not, could you please create one or is it the same as this Galamian video? I know you created a video of which specific Scales in priority in sequence, starting with #1 - A Major Scale (3 fingers) to # 7 C Major Scale. I just adore your videos.
Thanks for your kind words Stephanie. I'll try to do that. Happy music making!
Great tutorial! I will do this to warm up next time. My biggest issue is tempos. As I type long, complex password too much on my keyboard, I totally ignore the tempos in music :-)
HI Chee-Wooi, we all have a hard time keeping up with the tempo. But little by little with a help of metronome you will soon see how better you become. Happy practicing! :)
I love Galamian! So organized
agree!!
Scales forever...
:))
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is there a living man who could say No to her!🙏🏻
