Man Who Helped Police Arrest A Suspect Winds Up Arrested Himself

A man who assisted police in apprehending an individual suspected of robbing a visitor says he will never do so again. The man says he was later arrested for allegedly stealing the chain and insulting an officer. He alleges that he was beaten and taken to hospital after being thrown into the same cell as the alleged perpetrator that he assisted the police in arresting.

This is why people don’t assist the police ,there is always someone to witness a crime …ALWAYS!!!!!……where is the trust between the public and the police force .one bad officer makes the entire force look bad ….next topic …….No fights to Martinique only boats but our dignitaries can easily charter an air craft for better healthcare ,not all sick people can travel via boat….Saint Lucia we need to do better we are going backwards in this modern world…we need broader minds to run this country …..

St. Lucia has bigger problems than chain snatching, so lets get the priorities right. Apparently, seizures of cocaine from persons travelling from St.Lucia to the UK and elsewhere have skyrocketed. That means that either St.Lucia has become a major drug transhipment point or all branches of the island's security apparatus are ineffective, or both reasons. Do St Lucians just go through the motions of working on a daily basis, so as to get the paycheck? Does any profession, from the politicians, security personnel (all branches), doctors right through to the gardeners ever aspire to excellence in whatever they do? Must mediocrity rule the day in everything Lucians do? They just don't give a crap about anything but the money, with very few exceptions.
