It is very simple to install the package, unzip the file, and you will see is a file with extension .drfx, simply double click it to start the installation, once it's done, you will see the essential templates inside the Effects Panel in DaVinci Resolve, like you see in my videos.

Shadow Strength was not an option in my Essential Mask so I downloaded 2023.1 on 1/29/2023. That one does have the Shadow Strength, but now I have two Essential Mask in my Essential Effects. Only 2023.1 has the Shadow Strength. Can I get rid of the old version, and how?
If you use .drfx package, go to the edit template folder, C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Templates\Edit, delete the old .drfx files, and reinstall the mask template.

I tried to use essential mask effect on the edit page but somehow the menu is not showing all the masks showing on your menu, is there a way to show all these options or it is a plugin?
When I try to put the Essential Mask onto my top clip, why does it mask the clip underneath it? Then when I press Invert in the effect controls, it switches the clips?

This effect is rendering super slow on 18.5. Was some optimization lost? I've only got a single layer of split screen going on and the render times are through the roof on an RTX 4070.
Sorry to hear that, I just tested the radial wipe effect and split screen animation on my old windows(32GB ram and 1660 Super GPU, DR 18.5), it seems OK for me. Do you have more detail on what is not working?

Can you try to turn off "Close Border" option? looks like your images are masked and not filling the screen, the "close border" option is used to close the border if the image is taking the full screen

Nice plugin but you can't adjust keyframes on the timiline after applying mask :/

Hi there. Amazing effect, thank you! I applied the effect on my bottom clip also but for some reason it shows the radius of a circle instead of the whole rest of the image. I am suspecting this is because of the Ellipse1 node in the fusion composition. Is there a way to make that bigger so it's out of the frame? Thank you! Can you try to turn off "Close Border" option? looks like your images are masked and not filling the screen, the "close border" option is used to close the border if the image is taking the full screen

The clockwise checkbox swaps the clip to be on the outside of the circle if it helps: ruclips.net/video/tjWUIt5-80I/видео.html
