Christine hasn't been happy since Robyn came into the picture. Kody started dating her while Christine was pregnant with her last, if I am remembering correctly. He couldn't even wait for the baby to arrive. Last episode, the way Kody hugged and kissed Robin, I've never seen him kiss anyone of the other 3 like that. They look like they really love each other. I don't get that vibe with anyone else. I was not shocked to learn he has no intimacy with anyone but Robin.

Robin expected the Sister Wives to help her take care of her children. She still looks to Meri to help her manage her children. Robyn does not work outside the home and has teenage children. Why does she need a nanny? The other wives raised their children without outside help. Because Kody spends most of his time at her house, Robin has more support than the other wives. @Geoffrey Draws Comics to me, Kody is a very self centered person. I am not that familiar with polygamy, but from what I have seen on this show and some others, it is a very difficult life for those who are not the favorite.
Even though Robyn wants people to believe she wanted a polygamous lifestyle, she has always had a monogamous marriage to Kody within a polygamous family. She had a real wedding a honeymoon, her own house, a legal marriage to Kody. She hasn’t a clue, nor does she want one. Bravo to Christine for having self worth and teaching her kids Kody is not good enough for her ,she deserves more .
The thing is, Meri’s, Janelle’s and Christine’s children all joined the family at birth. The moms never had to sit their kids down and tell them to show respect for King Kody. He built those relationships over time. If (as adults) the kids now recognize that he is a douche canoe, that’s on him. It is not the mother’s job to force adults to respect a sperm donor.

The thing that has stuck in my mind all these years is something that Kody said either in the 1st or 2nd season. He talked about watching Christine eat either in their dating time or when they first got married. He said she looked "disgusting". That has stayed with me. The fact that he thought that is bad enough but that he said it on tv for his children and the world to hear. He's the disgusting one.
He has said many horrible remarks about all his wives, except Robyn. He has mentally controlled them and Christine and Janelle are finally seeing just how evil he is. Anyone watching Kody return to Robyn after Janelle’s mother’s funeral, could not be fooled that Robyn is delighted to have Kody for herself and he her. I agree with what you are saying. I'm so confused about Cody's beliefs. I'm a member of the church that his church branched off from. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, nicknamed Mormons. He was a member of my church before he became a polygamist. Anyway I don't know how he could treat a wife the way he does and claim he still believes in Celestial Marriage or whatever version of it his church believes in. Not having an intimate relationship with your spouse by choice doesn't sound very Celestial to me. It sounds cruel and selfish. If he is truly at that point he needs to just get divorced. I don't know what his faith believes about divorce, but right now I find it hard to believe he is even following his own religion that well.

Janelle uprooted her children from their beautiful home and good life in Las Vegas, so Robyn could drag them all to dreary Flagstaff. Janelle coldly dismissed Gabe's pleas to be able to enjoy his senior year in Las Vegas. He missed out on graduation, prom, scholarships, great job opportunities, cherished friendships and senior activities because what Kody & Robyn wanted was more important than his feelings. When Janelle boasted that she "didn't raise sheeple," I gagged. She was a sheeple, herself, as is Meri! Christine seems to be waking up.
Christine's mum left her Dad and we saw this season Christines sister is in a monogamous marriage. Christines and Janelles children adore her and will always be in her life. I don't think Christine really cares about whether she will be "shunned". She is surrounded by family and love and admiration from the fans. She's a super-momma and when kids love you like that we can't help but love her too.
I think her biggest concern when considering leaving was the loss of the family she has always known. That means the children and her friendship with Janelle. Now that she knows those children aren’t going anywhere and has been able to still be friends with Janelle, she’s probably very comfortable with her decision. Kody is in the greatest danger of being “shunned”.

They are covered by TLC insurance since it is their employer. And they claim they had to adopt the kids so if Robyn does they wouldn’t go to their bio dad.
I’m not in a plural marriage but I am a step-mom. I get along great with my husband’s ex wife because of my husbands actions. It is Cody’s responsibility to make sure all the women feel loved and an important piece of this family. He needs to facilitate those relationships growing. He has failed miserably!

Please can you do a compilation of clips of ALL the times we see Robyn telling Kody what to think and feel, or admitting that Kody said one thing and she told him something else (like about meri helping with her kids and Robyn said no because it wouldn't be fair.) Robyn is all of the time correcting Kody or persuading him with her concerns. Or he's admitting he has to do, or not do, something so he doesn't get in trouble with Robyn. Robyn tells Kody all of the time that she's the obedient, loyal one, and constantly throws the other women under the bus. She really is manipulating soooooooo much of it. When she told her kids they wouldn't have Thanksgiving with the whole family because the other families and wives weren't following the rules and made this BIG deal over how the other wives picked their children instead of her and her children, I really think she was emoting her own feelings of not being picked on the playground to her children. She even said she's been begging to be part of the family from the beginning, and is upset that Christine and Janelle aren't siding with her on everything she wants. She complains about being the scapegoat while living in a MUCH nicer house than anyone, not working, having kody mostly to herself AND a nanny/ maid even though she has adult children living at home still. If her kids were working or had relationships with girlfriends or boyfriends they wanted to see you know it would be different. She already gets to have a non family member come over all the time to take care of her children. She's not following "the rules" either, but won't admit it and calls herself loyal and obedient.

Christine seems awesome. Kody never had the ability to appreciate how positive and helpful she is. I’m glad she is able to make the best decision for herself and her family.
I am almost embarrassed for Mari, she makes me think of her like this pretty, this cute little loveable dog following her master and he get's upset and kicks her aside over and over and over again, sometimes hurting her sometimes, just hurting her heart, but she keeps picking up and running back after him for more! And he dislikes her so much he goes out and buys himself another, a younger and prettier dog and he loves on this new dog so much and all the first (Mari) dog can do is feel bad and then run after her master while making friends with the new dog so she can be close to the master... So so sad, because in my mind I just see Robyn and Kody in bed laughing at Mari and her actions and self worth! Does she not hold any value to herself? I see her just trying to please Robyn all the time ~ Mari please she stole your husband and your family. It's gone all of it, all there is left is The married couple with "their" kids, there is no more palagamy wives, no family, all the kids have made their choices and they choose, love, they choose their mothers, the family that was in season one, is no more its been destroyed by Robyn and Kody!

Unless he convinces TLC to hang around while he finds new wives although I honestly don’t think too many people would care to watch it. I’d much rather watch a new show with the women moving on with their lives without Cody.
Personally for me the moment he decided not to be with his daughter while she went through major surgery that for me was the end. That baby asking for her dad and him not being there was completely horrific and he doesn’t deserve to be called dad he’s there father the only kids who now have a dad are Robyn’s kids x he’s stating that gave and garrison need to move out what about Dayton he’s the same age? But no that’s ok. I hope Janelle does leave. I think seeing the older kids settled in monogamous relationships has opened their eyes to how well they are doing. Don’t get me wrong I think their lifestyle worked to a degree when the older kids were young they all had a great childhood and loved all their mums but when they started leading their own life’s and the grandkids were born it changed things x I think that style of living not plural marriage but living close to other families and helping raise all the kids as one unit made a massive plus to their upbringing x but I defo think Janelle is next x

I had no expect for any of them at the beginning, but now I respect Christine for leaving. It seems like the tv show was all that kept them together in the end. For Janelle’s kids to care for Christine, you know she had to have shown them love when she helped raise them. More respect for her.
Christine is such a sweetheart and has been my favorite from the start. I truly hope she finds someone who will put her first. I want her to find someone who treats her with love and respect, something Most is incapable of. And as so many have said, I would love for Sister Wives end and be replaced with a show with just Christine and Janelle. And, Meri if she ever escapes. But absolutely no Koch or Robin. Looking back from when I first started watching the show I remember liking Kody as he tried to meet all the needs of his wives. That's what made them popular is that he wasn't a tyrant. When Robyn came in i immediately didn't like her. I thought she was fake and would try to alienate him from the rest of his family. Fast forward a few years, he's become the husband I thought he would be but MUCH WORSE. He has definitely lost himself. He really has spiraled into an angry, bitter man. If he doesn't change he's going to destroy the relationships with his children.
I am glad one of the wives finally woke up! I wish that Meri would wake up!! I hope Janelle will also leave and I loved how her sons have stood up to Kody.

I agree with what you are saying. I'm so confused about Cody's beliefs. I'm a member of the church that his church branched off from. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, nicknamed Mormons. He was a member of my church before he became a polygamist. Anyway I don't know how he could treat a wife the way he does and claim he still believes in Celestial Marriage or whatever version of it his church believes in. Not having an intimate relationship with your spouse by choice doesn't sound very Celestial to me. It sounds cruel and selfish. If he is truly at that point he needs to just get divorced. I don't know what his faith believes about divorce, but right now I find it hard to believe he is even following his own religion that well.

I never liked Kody, but he really tore it this year when he started referring to HIS children as "Janelle's kids" or "Christine's kids". He's not the head of their households because he has utterly failed to act like a loving father and husband to his entire family. If he acted like a faithful father and husband, I could accept that while their way of life is not for me, at least the entire family behaves like a family. Way to go Christine, best wishes for you.

Janelle uprooted her children from their beautiful home and good life in Las Vegas, so Robyn could drag them all to dreary Flagstaff. Janelle coldly dismissed Gabe's pleas to be able to enjoy his senior year in Las Vegas. He missed out on graduation, prom, scholarships, great job opportunities, cherished friendships and senior activities because what Kody & Robyn wanted was more important than his feelings. When Janelle boasted that she "didn't raise sheeple," I gagged. She was a sheeple, herself, as is Meri! Christine seems to be waking up.

Christine's mum left her Dad and we saw this season Christines sister is in a monogamous marriage. Christines and Janelles children adore her and will always be in her life. I don't think Christine really cares about whether she will be "shunned". She is surrounded by family and love and admiration from the fans. She's a super-momma and when kids love you like that we can't help but love her too.
She knows Janelle will always let her see her kids. Those two get along well. She is not worried about robin's kids.
I think her biggest concern when considering leaving was the loss of the family she has always known. That means the children and her friendship with Janelle. Now that she knows those children aren’t going anywhere and has been able to still be friends with Janelle, she’s probably very comfortable with her decision. Kody is in the greatest danger of being “shunned”.

When Robyn showed up at Janelle's house, it was laughable! I knew the only reason she did was bc Kody was there! Surely Janelle knew that as well! It was freezing outside! She is so transparent! I'm glad Christine wasn't willing to stay in an unhappy marriage where she and her children were treated as less than Robyn and her kids! No matter what Robyn and Kody try to present to the viewers, we, John Q. Public, see right through it! Kody was horrible to Gabe in the last episode! Trashing their mom and Christine was low and quite disgusting as a father! I'm so happy for Christine and I wish more than anything that she will find real love someday! She's an intelligent and beautiful woman who deserves real love and happiness!

Yes as if we were supposed to think "the poor baby she didn't see Cody in 4 days" or whatever. It shows that Robin has no empathy empathy at all for the rest of Cody's children and then not being able to see their dad. And definitely no empathy for the wives saying all they have to do was follow the instructions. The way Cody came home after the funeral and the way she hugged them and they embraced shows that everything she said about being with him daily is taking it's toll on her, is all false. She WANTS him all to herself.

They are covered by TLC insurance since it is their employer. And they claim they had to adopt the kids so if Robyn does they wouldn’t go to their bio dad.
I’m not in a plural marriage but I am a step-mom. I get along great with my husband’s ex wife because of my husbands actions. It is Cody’s responsibility to make sure all the women feel loved and an important piece of this family. He needs to facilitate those relationships growing. He has failed miserably!

Please can you do a compilation of clips of ALL the times we see Robyn telling Kody what to think and feel, or admitting that Kody said one thing and she told him something else (like about meri helping with her kids and Robyn said no because it wouldn't be fair.) Robyn is all of the time correcting Kody or persuading him with her concerns. Or he's admitting he has to do, or not do, something so he doesn't get in trouble with Robyn. Robyn tells Kody all of the time that she's the obedient, loyal one, and constantly throws the other women under the bus. She really is manipulating soooooooo much of it.
When she told her kids they wouldn't have Thanksgiving with the whole family because the other families and wives weren't following the rules and made this BIG deal over how the other wives picked their children instead of her and her children, I really think she was emoting her own feelings of not being picked on the playground to her children. She even said she's been begging to be part of the family from the beginning, and is upset that Christine and Janelle aren't siding with her on everything she wants. She complains about being the scapegoat while living in a MUCH nicer house than anyone, not working, having kody mostly to herself AND a nanny/ maid even though she has adult children living at home still. If her kids were working or had relationships with girlfriends or boyfriends they wanted to see you know it would be different. She already gets to have a non family member come over all the time to take care of her children. She's not following "the rules" either, but won't admit it and calls herself loyal and obedient.

And he dislikes her so much he goes out and buys himself another, a younger and prettier dog and he loves on this new dog so much and all the first (Mari) dog can do is feel bad and then run after her master while making friends with the new dog so she can be close to the master... So so sad, because in my mind I just see Robyn and Kody in bed laughing at Mari and her actions and self worth! Does she not hold any value to herself? I see her just trying to please Robyn all the time ~ Mari please she stole your husband and your family. It's gone all of it, all there is left is The married couple with "their" kids, there is no more palagamy wives, no family, all the kids have made their choices and they choose, love, they choose their mothers, the family that was in season one, is no more its been destroyed by Robyn and Kody!

Personally for me the moment he decided not to be with his daughter while she went through major surgery that for me was the end. That baby asking for her dad and him not being there was completely horrific and he doesn’t deserve to be called dad he’s there father the only kids who now have a dad are Robyn’s kids x he’s stating that gave and garrison need to move out what about Dayton he’s the same age? But no that’s ok. I hope Janelle does leave. I think seeing the older kids settled in monogamous relationships has opened their eyes to how well they are doing. Don’t get me wrong I think their lifestyle worked to a degree when the older kids were young they all had a great childhood and loved all their mums but when they started leading their own life’s and the grandkids were born it changed things x I think that style of living not plural marriage but living close to other families and helping raise all the kids as one unit made a massive plus to their upbringing x but I defo think Janelle is next x

Looking back from when I first started watching the show I remember liking Kody as he tried to meet all the needs of his wives. That's what made them popular is that he wasn't a tyrant. When Robyn came in i immediately didn't like her. I thought she was fake and would try to alienate him from the rest of his family. Fast forward a few years, he's become the husband I thought he would be but MUCH WORSE. He has definitely lost himself. He really has spiraled into an angry, bitter man. If he doesn't change he's going to destroy the relationships with his children.

What I think Kody has never understood, is that you are a parent from the time your children are conceived, to the time you or they die. He seems to think he is no longer a dad once they are 18. That is disgusting to me. And some of the kids, like Ysabel, he disown before they are 18. He is a sorry excuse for a man and is not a fit father.
