@@klinsmann6706 that is true however, I actually found that these drums in particular did have a pitch, so I “tuned” them anyway so they were all even with one another…..and tension was relative too….but had to do it anyway bc they were loose for transit purposes. btw I didn’t mean to sound like I was tuning them like an acoustic kit lol👌
If you don't keep the mesh tight there is a real risk of breaking the transducers and the frame they are attached to. I broke 4 pads before Alesis pointed this out.
I’m thinking about getting this or the Roland td27 Kv2. I’m really liking the Alesis but have heard there are a few problems with it, modules freezing & trigger issues. How have you found the Alesis? And are you happy with it? I like the module on the Alesis, it looks really simple to use. Thanks for your video 👍🏻
@@DrumStructure hi 👋 I’ve not personally found any issues as I’ve only had it for around 1 week now - they’ve likely done various updates to the module since its release but in terms of drums not triggering, nothing and it sounds class! Overall, happy with it for sure 👌
@@harrybonedrumsthanks for your reply. As it’s been out around 7 to 8 months now I was thinking they may have issued some updates & software fixes. It really does look like amazing value for money in this price range. Looking forward to seeing more videos on this kit. Many thanks 👍🏻

edrums don't need to be tuned. You can adjust tension for feeling but that's it.

Great kit..it’s a massive up grade for me from alesis command, how ever I didn’t get a code for bfd for xtra 3 kits 😢
