Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. In fact I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion sometimes where I am truly based.
I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree and I am currently working as a Project Control Engineer.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my RUclips Channel and my full-time job as an engineer. I was also a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers and we actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011. I was also the Glee Club President and the singing trainer for various competitions when I was in the university which was a humbling experience for me.
Ever since, I started watching television as a kid, I realized that I enjoy analyzing and commenting on things related to singing performances. I believe this was the foundation of my interest towards making a reaction channel.
I am a self-motivated, and a disciplined soul. I am always keen to up-skill myself by learning new things whenever I get a chance.
My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on being sensitive to the beauty of vocal embellishments, be it major or very subtle.
Most importantly, I keep my reactions real and natural.

Ramli Sharif sang as the narrator who understood how Majnun felt, while Jamal sang as Majnun, vowing his love is only for Laila. His male ego really crushed until he loose his mind. When Laila's husband finally did let her go to seek her beloved, they finally met but to die in each other arms.

Their songs are very very deep and poetic. That’s why they are “lost” when delivering them. Ramli Sarip, Jamal Abdillah and there’s also M.Nasir who sings this kind of genre. You can find them on stage together most times when they are doing a concert.

It is the same as saying “Ya Allah” and can be used in all kinds of scenarios but mainly when asking for encouragement or strength.
