Yes ! I had sukiyaki where my Japanese friend's mom and sister cooked a feast for me when I visited them during my 1st trip to Japan. And the village is in some rural area surrounded by paddy field around their house, it was freezing cold cos it's near the forest and mountain at the back. I was reluctant at first when they teach me how to eat sukiyaki by dipping it in the raw egg hahaha.... But I still try it since they were so nice to cook all those nice food for me. And I actually like it after trying it dipping all the veges and meat into the egg, yum ~~ Perfect for the cold winter. That was my 1st and last time having sukiyaki.
Makes me miss japan so much. I tried to eat sukiyaki with my local eggs, not recommended and disgusting hahaha as japanese eggs are sweet so it really compliments the dish
