Wow, the sheer joy in that performance is something else. Brilliant musucians at the top of their game, working perfectly together as a group. Absolutely wonderful.
This is a really cool song. No one tried to over power each other in the song. Each instrument complimented each other and made such a cool jazzy sound as a whole
Just texted my daughter to watch this. She just took up the uke. I have never seen anyone play uke like this. Jake Shimabukuro is amazing. Been following Alison Brown (that's how I got here, & she is usually bluegrass) & a great cover of Mangione's classic.
Such a nice, refreshing sound. Music is about the expression of emotion, feeling and passion for what we do that is inside of our hearts. Thank you for sharing this. Be safe and stay healthy.
Nice version, first time I heard this music was 1978 on board Singapore airline flight, now it is still a hit. Both uke and banjo shared great performance.
I fear the great works of Chuck Mangione have been lost to time. Good to see young people rejuvenating Mangione's music. "Feels So Good" was released as a single in early 1978, which reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June of that year after spending a week atop the Billboard easy listening chart in May. The recording was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Record of the Year at the ceremony held in 1979, losing out to Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are". Mangione re-recorded the tune (as a slow ballad, and with lyrics sung by Don Potter) for his 1982 album 70 Miles Young. Mangione was quoted describing the editing of the original version of the track as "major surgery." [Wikipedia]
I wish the studio didn't tighten this shit up ... because ... this is a bunch of musicians, and the song, though funny and pop, is respect ... and makes people happy like a one liner joke ... but res ... pect ...

Best version of the song!!! Thanks Jake!! Thanks Allison!! Thank you all!!
Excellent tune, Alison and Jake. I like it.
I listen to Alison a lot. I really like her taste in music.
That really feels so good!
Exquisite! Anytime you're having a rough day at the office take five and just groove along with this musical gem.

Brilliant. I love the original, and I love this version. Terrific riffing by all parties. Wish it were an hour long.

What can you say? Believe me, two artists. Wonderful!

Ya done blowed me away !
probably the best disco banjo I've ever heard ! Bravo
Wow, so nice!
I saw George Benson play this in Detroit at the Fox theater in the 80's. It's nice to see it breath again. Thanks.
Just a piece of trivia, a young George Benson before he played the guitar, started on the ukulele.
I know that pianist! Hey, Joey! What a great arrangement, textures, musicianship . . .
Fabulous! Heard on Randolph radio in VT
Beautiful❤Alison from here in Toronto!
That was Great, the whole band was awesome and on my favorite banjo too, Prucha.
I fear the great works of Chuck Mangione have been lost to time.

Loving this. The banjo compliments the ukulele really well. Like ice compliments water.
Great musicians having a great time. Thanks for sharing the moments with the rest of us.
Love love love love love etc.
Feels so Good, these guys are havin' too much fun - call the authorities!
Excellent performance.
So many of my favorite musicians!
Wow! Alison, you inspire me...and surround yourself with great talent, thanks.
Talk about reinventing the Uke and Banjo! They're just great!
WOW! Thank you Alison and company. Looking forward to getting album.
Outstanding!
I just heard an add about this lady's playlist for banjo in Spotify so I decided to check her out. RElaxing.
lindo!!! sofisticado!!! sentimento a flor da pele.... musica...
Perfect.....
This song needs to be put in a movie soundtrack if it has yet to be.
I still like this.
Love seeing Jake with amazing bluegrass cats. Waiting for the jamband/jambase world to find Jake.

Bellissimo.

素敵だわぁ
Purely exiguous...
I totally agree, as I look up exiguous, e...x...i...g...
On another video there was a comment "what does it take to make Alison smile?" Apparently it takes something this good.
1:21 Bryon Larrence!
Where's Alison been all my life. Typical Jake amazing licks.
Who is the guitar player on this track?
Hello is there sheet music for the ukulele part?
Unfortunately there is no sheet music for the ukulele part but thank you for reaching out.
WOW.....!!! Very cool...! Who is the one moron who put a thumbs down on this....????
This is the ultimate anti-depressant!
Lovely stuff!
I wonder what kind of banjo Alison is pickin'? I can't recognize it from the quick shots....
I think it's a Prucha, from the Czech Republic. They make an Alison Brown Signature model.
Banjo here sounds like opening glass bottles, so cute.
I know that drummer!
Yo! Bryon!
So much better than a fluegelhorn version.
You've got to be kiddin' me.................
Glad she gave up banking (yup, that's what she did in her previous life I'm told)

Merci pour ce beau morceau. ruclips.net/video/_3hdrO4GKDw/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Pity about the poor camera work.
