I watched maybe 6-7 of your videos today. This is probably one of more favorite reviewers. You actually sound happy on what you have Infront of you. You earned my sub.
Thanks so much! With everything being expensive these days, I'm really only able to purchase models that I really want so I suppose that helps too :) One day maybe I'll get some kind of sponsor to help out, but for now and the current future plan is buying everything out of pocket and showing off what I can
The “camera” looking item under the conductors window is the outlet for the toilet tank (black water). Terminal service crews would attach a hose there to drain the toilet tank. Nice detail that is missed by a lot of model manufacturers.
Hello Again "Da Joe Trains"! Im Just Gonna Say That Bnsf H1 Et44c4 Was My Favorite In Bnsf Tier 4 Gevos Because I Just Made The H1 Et44c4 In Minecraft!😊
Very nice! I have the DCC ready version (mainly because I wanted to try Scale Sound Solutions speakers when I eventually do plan to add DCC/sound at some point), and I really like it! I really like the new horn sound files for these locomotives. I know some people pointed out these have more of a "doppler" effect, but from my experiences with the real tier 4s, they sound pretty accurate. Also, if you're still wondering about that detail under the cab, that is actually an outlet so a hose can be attached to drain the septic tank on the locomotive!
Oh neat, thank you very much! I can kind of make out the decal printing now that I know what it should say. I need to get my hands on some Scale Sounds speakers, from videos I've seen they sound incredible, I just haven't made the jump to them yet. Probably need to get my layout rebuilt first!
Not gonna lie at this point, I want Scale trains to try and do three paint schemes on the ET44, the first is the DM&E, second is the B&O scheme(their multi-colored scheme), and finally, Great Northern's Big Sky Blue.
scale trains usually does good with the horns. but this horn sounds like it is a Doppler effect at a high speed. so it sounds off moving slow and also like it should be going away from us anytime it is used. i am sure this will sell out, it's Heritage One.
Agreed, it's not an awful doppler effect but it's definitely there. I assume it's due to SXT taking a horn from a moving prototype, which is nice in most cases. They have many horns preloaded that can be switched out and those seem to be a bit better. If I remember from the last update, there's about 3-4 left in DCC/Sound models in each of the 3 road numbers of this HypoTypical scheme for those looking

Cool, thank you! That makes sense, it's the first model I own to have that detail so perhaps we'll see it included more often in future runs
I got the 3707 and did a similar unboxing to this one. I fell in love with this Hypotypical H1 design the moment I saw it.
Awesome, I'll have to check yours out. Very pleased with this one
@ It’s not as good as what you did, and I’m also very pleased with this product.

Sweet, great work!
Nice review and video plus I am a new subscriber and will look in on your content from time to time. Jersey Bill
Thanks so much, glad to have you here!
Another cool unboxing! Keep them coming!
Thanks! Caught up for now but always new things on their way!

I'd probably grab a big sky blue, that would be so vibrant on one of these. B&O I would guess may be the most likely for them to actually make
@@da-joe-trains sharp looking tier 4 Geveo
I want this horn on the N scale tier 4s 😅. I don't know I just like it better than the one they have already.
Is it not on the current N scale ones or do you have a previous run? It's odd if they're different between the scales
@ I got mine about 2 years ago it’s lok sound 5. The ones right now, n and ho both have the same horn ho hypotypical just has its own horn.
Ah gotcha! Maybe that's how they get more people to go for hypotypicals, an exclusive horn
@@da-joe-trains I guess will never know 😂
Another nice Gevo, shame the hypotypical CP sold out, I wanted one or 2 of those. This one looks pretty sharp though, flange squeal demo was perfect
Thanks! I'd like to start finding some CP engines, but those ET44 hypotypicals went quick!
