For sure there is better taken separately, but as a whole Romania offers everything at a fraction of the cost you find in France or Italy , 2 other European countries, I would say that offers the same nature diversity as Romania .

It is fortunate that wolves and bears could not talk otherwise shepherds could not do what they do now. The wise bears and wolves learned that humans are just noise and they can get a sheep if they are persistent. Therefore, the fattest bears and wolves are the wiser. I see a few problems , here , . In order to fight bear you need 2 kind of dogs , ones that have a strong bite , & ones that are fast & agile to harass the animal , such as Border Collie. I watched my Border , harass a bear ,all by himself , until it run off . The real problem is people feeding the bear instead of shooting it , Bears in the town is ridicules! When the man found his donkey he should have gotten to a place where he could observe the return of the bear & used his rifle to dispatch it , as it will be back in a couple of weeks for for another donkey, sheep , dog , or HIM !

Only, besides Russia, we also have the largest bear and wolf population in Europe, so occasionally predators _will_ snatch an animal. It's a fact of life. The only way to eliminate this problem would be to wipe out both bears and wolves, and this is something we definitely don't want to do.

They aren't allowed to carry a gun to shoot bear's. The government is so messed up. They have allowed the bear population to grow into unreasonable numbers. That's why some will go out and poison bear's. The bear's aren't afraid of humans it's so dangerous for the village people
For sure there is better taken separately, but as a whole Romania offers everything at a fraction of the cost you find in France or Italy , 2 other European countries, I would say that offers the same nature diversity as Romania .
Wolves and bears! Don't expect not to lose any sheep. If bears and wolves are not shot then you know the shepherds expect to lose sheep to the wise wolves and bears and they come to find the sheep carcasses not to weep their loss but to collect any wool. It is fortunate that wolves and bears could not talk otherwise shepherds could not do what they do now. The wise bears and wolves learned that humans are just noise and they can get a sheep if they are persistent. Therefore, the fattest bears and wolves are the wiser. The shepherds also get likes and publicity from the videos by showing the wolves and bears kills which are part of their everyday routine.

I see a few problems , here , . In order to fight bear you need 2 kind of dogs , ones that have a strong bite , & ones that are fast & agile to harass the animal , such as Border Collie. I watched my Border , harass a bear ,all by himself , until it run off . The real problem is people feeding the bear instead of shooting it , Bears in the town is ridicules! When the man found his donkey he should have gotten to a place where he could observe the return of the bear & used his rifle to dispatch it , as it will be back in a couple of weeks for for another donkey, sheep , dog , or HIM !
Exactly . I simply don't understand the stupidity of people who let black bears trespass their property . They may seem docile at first but when they come to know that tgey can enter human territory and leave unharmed , hell breaks loose . You get news of people getting mauled and eating and pets getting attacked .

@@robertmintz63 have you seen where the video was taken? People herded sheep for thousands of years in those parts of the country and didn't feel the need to shoot the bears.
I have a correction to make here. The bear will usually return within 24hrs , so go home, fasten a spot light to the rifle & have a shower, no soap , rinse with backing soda water wash your clothes in same , go back to the site , with a trained obedient dog , one that will be quiet, station self up wind & wait
These dogs managed just fine for hundred of years . They are raised for this . I doubt a collie can manage a pack of wolves.

The Ciobanesc Romanesc de Bucovina can be twice the size of a Sarplaninac, and is more agile - those are the dogs meant to defend flocks against bears. Only, besides Russia, we also have the largest bear and wolf population in Europe, so occasionally predators _will_ snatch an animal. It's a fact of life. The only way to eliminate this problem would be to wipe out both bears and wolves, and this is something we definitely don't want to do.
