Fitting Climair Wind Deflectors to my ST150 | + Wiper Delete Kit | + Suntrip

- This video was meant to be out last week but I had a nightmare getting hold of certain parts, one of which still didn't show so I had to improvise! Nevertheless, in this video I fitted Climair wind deflectors, a Kill All Wipers rear wiper delete kit and a sunstrip to my Fiesta ST150. While they're all styling mods in their own right, they all serve a purpose or have a function for me. The wind deflectors allow me to have the windows open when its raining and help to reduce wind noise, the wiper delete kit solved my seized wiper motor and the sunstrip keeps the sun out of my eyes - as I currently don't have any sun visors in the car... why? So how do you find the Climair wind deflectors work? Im in a car without AC myself and my main wish is to reduce wind noise/buffeting when having the windows slightly opened

my windows still struggle the last 20/15% from closing. How do you find yours? i may look at the wiper delete at some point too. Or i did think of a smooth wiper but not sure which smooth small wiper fits our cars
Yeah mine don’t give me any issues. Yours have clips similar to Hekos right? I’ve always found the ones that clip in to have issues with closing the windows. Climairs are designed so that you have to bend them into the window channel and once they’re in they hold themselves firmly in place. But yeah this is my second set of Climair deflectors and I’ve always been super happy with them 👍🏻 as for the wiper, I’ve got an insta post coming on that, I was gonna say I’ve never needed it but 🐦💩 different wiper would look cool, and different.
@@MendItModIt mine fitted just like yours, had to bend them in and fitted tight and strong.
Maybe the plastic on mine are thicker so it's tougher to close
@@DriveWithAndy possibly, I thought yours had clips, my bad. I’ve not heard of the Edge ones before
#Mend it Mod it - So I have these on mine but they apart to be fitted into the channel where the glass is in , my understanding is they go on the outside of the rubber not in the same part the glass goes up and down in . Is that correct

I had to call Climair directly and they processed the order over the phone. I he sometimes have to get the dark ones in from Germany
I had a climair deflector set. Fucked the window motor. Cost 100 quid
That’s really unlucky, mine go up and down all the way with no issues. Probably helps when the weather is warm and they’ll be more supple and almost mold to the shape of the channel/window.
Have theses fitted to mine heko or climacool ?

@@shaungowler8909 ah see I don’t like the shape of heko ones, and the way they have to have clips to be solid, the climair ones just slot in, don’t interfere with the window and there’s no moving them once they’re in
@@MendItModIt I. CAn honestly say not had a problem with them since fitted also fitted the jun sport grills today cleans front end up nicely black contrast on frozen white looks the part 👍🏻

Calling it a "delete" is another annoying Americanism. Same with when you have British people saying "muffler delete". Its caused by the younger generation of car enthusiast who only got into via you tubers from America.
Ngl I hate the term ‘delete’ when it comes to anything to do with cars… but “removing the rear wiper” sounds a bit rubbish for a YT title 😂
