Great performance, dedication of the highest level to play and align both parts as well as this let alone the solo piano part! Brillant concerto, and a performance to match it!
I do not underestimate how much work went into producing this stunning performance of Gershwin's Piano Concerto in F. The solo piano alone is a tour de force for any concert pianist, but to also play a transcription of the orchestral score and 'marry' the two together can have been no mean feat. You always leave me in a state of ecstasy with your piano uploads, Cole, and this complete version of the Gershwin Concerto is truly stunning. Although the 'orchestral piano' cannot achieve the colour brought to the music by the full instrumental score, I really love the texture you have created with the two pianos acting as one. I cannot thank you enough for the time and trouble you take to make this awesome content available on RUclips - and I wish I could sing your praise more fully. Words are sadly inadequate. Cole, you are simply the best. Again, from the heart, 'thank you'.
great ! thank you , im trying to learn thar, and even if you showed me much of what i dont know how to do, and thanks a lot for that, i have also a humble sugestion. in seconds 2:28 to 2:31 . the inner voice of right hand, you can do that with fingers 2 and 3, meanwhile the C and D flat octaves, you can do this with thumb and pinky. it is a little beat of movement in thart, but i guess is more conftable for the hand
Many years ago I heard the Labeques do this at the Hollywood Bowl on two pianos (of course). Do you know if this is similar to their version? it is magnificent and I echo all the compliments below! My favorite piano concerto (even above the Rock's ones!) Gershwin was brilliant. Sad to consider what he might have brought even more to classical music had he lived longer, sigh. Kudos for this work (I will check out your Patreon).
Nice job! Congratulations 😊... I wonder how did you record it?... Did you make a click during the whole piece? And what did you record first the piano solo or the accompagnement?... Well it is just for curiosity... greetings 😁@@TheIndependentPianist
@@pollitossafinaI had to record each movement in segments-sometimes the solo first and sometimes the orchestral parts, depending on where the melody was-thank you for watching and listening!
I cannot get enough of Gershwin.
Likewise.

@@kofiLjunggren My favorite (right before Rachmaninoff’s third one) !
A Tour de Force! Highly imaginative and brilliant interpretation of a classic! Ai loved listening, looking and learning. 👏👏👏
Thank you for posting your performance of the complete concerto, Cole!

Fantastic! The accompaniment is your own playing?
Yes!
