Hi. Mercy. My hair texture is fine and wavy. At 62, it has thinned from weaves and now wigs. No matter what I do, I guess I fit in the “chronic hair loss” category (heartbreaking). What exactly do you use on your hair and scalp the hair fertilizer and castor oil?
@@Soulfeedr23 yes I used those both along with coconut oil.
Statli Wilmott I’m scared to use it now my edges are slightly thin due to some braids they’re growing back on they’re own but I want to help the process I just saw a few reviews about how it made people’s hair fall out and some fell out in clumps
@@Soulfeedr23 well everyone hair is different . For me it help grow my hair and also my edges are getting there as the days go by.
It has grown in
I've been use virgin hair fertilizer and it's really growing my edges back since I joined the channel. I'm definitely adding castor oil
What's the name of the product you use?
Does it work for men? Just yesterday I was looking through old photos and realized I was known for my hair nowadays nobody even mentions it .it made me sad
How long has it taking you ? I've been using it for 3 months and I see progress but very minimal
@@traceycedoit8042 I think you should be consistent with it, and include castor oil too. It thickens the edges too
How do you use hair fertiliser on your edges?
Hello! For those who may be concerned about the smell. Sunny Isle makes a Lavender Black Castor Oil Butter. I mixed the two and can barely smell the hair fertilizer.
You kinda favor SZA; it’s the eyes, nose, lips, and smile. Thanks for the vid! ✨
Love your enthusiasm of teaching about natural hair. Continue sharing your knowledge Queen!

Ladies always wet your hair first before applying any oil, don't put oil on dry hair!
(Jamaican black Castor oil WITH ALMA OIL!)
Thank you Mercy I just lost all of my long hair my head is tender and itches all the time I need to see a dermatologist.
I've been watching your videos and started using a few products you recommended. I went bald in 2018 and my hair grew quite a bit since then and I just wanna grow it longer using natural products. I've also shared about your channel on my Facebook Group encouraging more ladies to have a look at it. Thanks for sharing all these with us Mercy 🤗.
More natural!
Thank you so much.
I happened to do tight braids for quite number a number of times and now I can see that my edges are quite different.
Hey Mercy, just started watching your videos four days ago and so far I'm loving what I'm seeing and hearing. My hair is thinning on the right side of the heads because of the constant pull back in one. Today is the first day I'm starting the rice water treatment. Wish me luck. Fingers crossed 🍀. Thanks again Mercy

New subscriber. 💕
More natural!!!👏👏😁 J just joined the family a few weeks ago, am also a registered nurse and have just begun my 4c natural hair growth journey. Thank you for being soooo informative. I have learned so much and am super excited to see my results. I was wondering if you could incorporate whether the hair needs to be clean prior to applying the aloe vera/ oils etc...I want to make sure I have the best results possible😁
I love how you defined the types of hairloss
She is so real and her personality is just...mwah 😂 p.s. she also pretty
I am a senior who had edges throughout my life! I began to follow u approx. 2 months ago. Besides making the aloe vera oil, I rub the skin on my edges. I can't believe it - I don't have edges!!!!!
I’ll definitely going to trying this method... I’m a natural 💁🏾♀️
How’d it work!?
yes gorl
Hi. Mercy. My hair texture is fine and wavy. At 62, it has thinned from weaves and now wigs. No matter what I do, I guess I fit in the “chronic hair loss” category (heartbreaking). I think of my mom (RIP)who had fine, wavy hair and my older sisters are even balding. Thanks for the reality check. I do take your advise in product use and I won’t give up.
About the HAIR FERTILIZER.
My hair store carries it. So, check your ASIAN or AFRICAN hair store for it. I use it 2 times a day and see that my edges ARE growing back. So thankful!
Just placed my ordered will start as soon as I get it. I have been taking the aloe Vera gel pills and biotin for three weeks and see a difference in my hair. Thank you so much.
How has it been??
This video was really helpful to me .i hwve been doing this for about three weeks now and i can really see improvement in my edges growth❤
Black Castor Oil work for my hair. My hair got bald in 2 places because of my laziness to not wash out the gel before straightening my hair. I use castor oil on those bald spots and it grow back. CASTOR OIL IS THE BEST HAIR GROWTH OIL I know. 👍🏾
Thanks for the tip on growing the hair edges. I have been watching your videos for a year on and off when I can. I find it informative and helpful.
mine are growing back right now! they’re such cute little curls i can almost do bangs with them!
I'm so happy that I stumbled across your channel. It has been a tremendous blessing. I did rice water and also the Aleovera juice, I can see the difference in the texture and length. Keep it up...... Cheers.
Good recipe it's not expensive very cheap and simple I will try it Thanks.
Thank you for being honest in explaining the two type of thinning and balding of hairline edges.
Hello Mercy. More natural hair videos please. I have had really short hair for so many years and i have tried all sort of products. I leaning towards organic products now. Upon watching your videos i will try your products to see. My mum and i have short soft natural hair. So i avoid hair extensions braids which pulls hair out entirely. So i will start using your methods and give you a feedback. Thank you sister.

Hey 🙋🏾♀️ how do you make your leave in conditioner with aloe Vera ? And do you use rice water ? Thank you! And how long do you keep the conditioner?
Mercy, I love watching you videos. You are an amazing teacher. Keep up the great work
More natural!! I am just seeing this video and I will purchase items tomorrow. I pray for good results. Thank you for make this video Mercy.
Black folks and our edges. 99% of us have that problem. I was starting to have the same problem, I took vitamins and treated my edges with oils, just like you, and softness and massages. I'm good now.
Which vitamins did you take?🥺
@@Thecoolcjay Biotin 10 000 for hair, skin and nails.
@@Valgef thank you for the quick reply 💎
You have beautiful hair and skintone. Very knowledgeable. Thanks!
More natural hair videos please. Just want to say that I enjoy your videos, to explain things well and your attention to detail is great. I have only started watching during "lock down" and I will be following you permanently now.
I tried to use the Virgin cream before but the smell was awful. Have they improved the formula?
Hey girly I just went and go me both ingredients I’m not doing wigs wit glue no more I’m going to do some butterfly locs wish me luck mamaz 💋
I love all your videos. They are simple and it works. What i love most of all is your honesty.
My hair has been grown out natural, and protectively styled under hair-pieces for some years now. Then I put braids in my hair ONCE (actually, in my profile photo).
Now, one area on my right side had a bald space.
So, thanks! I'm going to focus on any advice/products recommended for "acute hair loss" at the hairline. 💘
Blessings in Jesus!!! 🙏
Literally the 1st time I've ever had both products 🎊
Thank for explaining the difference between chronic and acute hair loss. Moreover your a nurse. Good information is needed on social media platforms. Keep accurate info coming.
Hi Mercy! Your interviews are life changes and I thank you. May I ask what you think about derma rolling?
OHHHH MYYYY! I’m glad I stumbled around your channel ☺️ I just did the ‘Big-Chop’ and was looking for an hair growth regimen, ESPECIALLY for the ‘NAPE’ of my hair. The nape of my hair been damaged for some years due to me wearing a wig or 27pc with those stocking caps eating the nape of my hair out! But long story short, I JUST MADE THIS FOR MY HAIR and can’t WAIT to see the results! ☺️❤️🤞🏾
Hey Tameka going through the same thing. Have you tried it and what is your results from using this method. Did it work?
Any updates ?
I love the videos that capitalize on growing and maintaining hair.
"Edges are the devil. You either have them or you don't?" I can't see that comparison.
your edges are the devil. speak for yourself. mine are good.
I think they are 2 separate thoughts and not a comparison.
I think she meant demons
See just let us know about it to grow fronter hair pls 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good vs evil. Get it?
More natural. I’ve been needing to find something for my edges forever and I’m looking forward to try this concoction. I’ll update my comment to give my experience w/ this method. Thank you so much for this.
Update ?
Literally watched one video last week and immediately subscribed. Love your positive energy, your natural hair videos inspired me to take control of my hair 💕
Girl, nursing school is the only thing that has ruined my edges, big time. I still have three more semesters left. No more tight buns.
I mixed the Virgin hair fertilizer with coconut oil sometime ago(didn’t hv any idea about wat I was doing tho) I stopped using it 😂😂 I now know wat did and I’m going to continue using it
I just purchased the products for my daughter she is starting to show loss in her edges so I hope this works... thanks for sharing!
I so appreciate this video! I have naturally thick hair but my edges are struggling a bit. I will try this. I hope it works for me!
Sitting here crying I looked in the mirror and I can actually see my scalp. I believe the walmart elastic "satin" bonnet is the culprit. When I wake up it would be on that spot kind of tightly. I'm going to try your method. I know it's just hair and its a small patch that will grow back but it's making me so emotional 🤦🏽...
I used to get micro braids all the time in middle school and they pulled my edges out 😩. I finally got them to grow back but their thin now
Yes!!! I got micro braids after a perm by force, when they came out so did all my length i haven’t liked my hair since
I have been using Jaimacan castor oil and I have seen improvement at a slow pace. I will try to include the virgin fertilizer. Thank you for the info......
Mercy can you do a video on your scalp care method for example do you oil your scalp or not? And how often you wash your hair etc. Love the videos BTW 💝 MORE NATURAL!
Mercy Gono BSN, RN yes because every time I oil my scalp I get dandruff.
I have been watching your videos and I can say I have found the hair advice to be great and will help me on my hair journey for strengthening my hair ❤
You really did a great job caring for your hair 🥰
More natural! 😁😁 Thanks girl for the natural hair tips! Appreciate all the effort you put into these videos. 🙌🏽👍
Hello Mercy! I just begun using the hair fertilizer yesterday for the first time. I will let you know when I began to see the results. Thanks so much. Be blessed and safe during the pandemic.
Hey any results? :)
Excited to try it ... lost some of my edges recently from a braided style
Thank you so much for your information... The way you speak is everything.. you are so patient & I appreciate that... I'm using everything in this working out well again thank you
